Are combos in this game character specific at all?

The answer here is yes and no. Yes, there are a wide range of char specific combos in this game for almost every char. There are various reasons that you might want to learn them; primarily higher damage combos that give oki. Some combos will work on everyone, but require slight timing changes. That being said, most chars in this game dont 'need' to use them if you dont want to. Unlike most other fighters I've played, melty has combos that net good damage, and give oki that are universal. For H-VSion, my next vid, Practical Combos Part 2, goes over he char specific combos. The combos in this video will work on all of the cast, with the possible exceptions of the necos.
