Loving your videos! Please keep them up. I have found myself feeling depressed during this recent lockdown and having never had that experience (the feeling of gloom and doom and anxiety about the future), it really helps to acknowledge that in fact you need help and that’s okay to need help. Because I think the biggest step to healing is actually recognizing what you are dealing with. As it can be a scary experience to not be sure what you actually feel that makes you so uncomfortable. Again, thanks for shading light

Sir, your videos are treasures, but medication is really help. Based on my experience, there are two types of depression. Depression because of medication and depression because negative thought. I have both of them. Depression because of medication is really painfull. Really painfull. Even how happy people tried to make us. We pretend we are happy. But when we are alone, it is really painfull. But i already healed. I watched your video plus consume anti depresant from the doctor. It works. I am healed now. No sad feelings that come from nowhere. Combine CBT with medication for faster process of healing. Thank you Sir,,

these videos are literally life savers and one of the best, if not the best, explanatory, informative, connective, helpful videos on youtube. the way you outline examples and provide alternative thought processes is extremely relatable and helpful and wouldn't mind even more of that. thank you. i've developed agoraphobia from stress and depression, worrying about future, financial worries now from all that, panic disorder. but these videos have been the most helpful thing for me and helps a lot with my journaling and motivation/ hope for future. i wonder if you've covered anger related to depression/anxiety and the feeling of losing control/feeling lost? it seems even tiny things that trigger stress responses these days.

The order doesn't really matter, and often people find some strategies more effective than others, so if that's the case focus on the ones that seen more helpful. But you'll find them all together in an order that makes sense to me at shtoons.com/depression

on the other videos you mentioned about we need to slow down and calm, @1:47 but in this video we do the opposite. so, which one is the correct way to decrease our stress, anxiety and anger?
@SelfHelpToons6 ай бұрын
Your timestamp i is referring to behavioral activation, which is a technique to manage lack of motivation associated with depression by increasing our levels of activity. Slowing down and being calm is a good strategy for managing anxiety, stress and anger.

2021 was the hardest, darkest time of my life. I was physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually BROKEN. But now I feel genuinely GRATEFUL and BLESSED that I had to go through that phase because GOD has graciously REVEALED Himself to me in miraculous ways. I am fortunate that He allowed me to know Him at a very young age, but this year is SPECIAL because of what WE (yes, GOD and me) have been through last year. He showed me how POWERFUL prayers truly are when I started to focus on WHO HE IS rather than who I am, on WHAT HE CAN DO rather than what I deserve. The experience was MAGICAL. He showed up BIG TIME and assured me that HE is indeed a LISTENING and RESPONDING GOD. Oh how my faith has skyrocketed as a result! Now more than ever, I have very bright HOPE for my future because I personally experienced how RELIABLE God is. And for that I will forever be grateful. GLORY BE TO GOD, MY EVER FAITHFUL FATHER. ♥️♥️♥️ To everyone who's struggling right now, please know that GOD LOVES YOU. He wants to help you and give you peace. Please surrender your burdens to Him and allow Him to move in your life. "Because he loves Me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name. He will call on Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." (Psalm 91:14-15) Please hold on to this bible verse because WHATEVER GOD SAYS, HE FULFILLS. 🛐

its funny cuz you can do all that and think that there is progress and that you feel better, but in the end of the day it is nothing compared to actually feeling good and normal, and you realize how much its actually completely out of your hands in those rare moments when you DO just feel good for no reason like normal people :D but to me it literally only depends on the time of the year and lasts like a month..I think it's truly just a physical thing
