The biggest thing I remember about that poem is that Dante won't shut up about spheres once he gets to Heaven. I understand that they're important from a mathematical perspective, but I will just never be as interested in spheres as Dante was. So it's funny to me to imagine replacing all of the spheres with square burger patties. I kind of like not knowing what the food looks like and only having the grotesque imaginings of my mind based on the brothers' descriptions to go on. I like to listen to the podcast while running, and if there's a munch squad segment, when I get home, I excitedly google the food they were talking about to see the reality. Usually it's fairly mundane compared to what I had imagined. The subway cookie subs was an exception. That pickle and chips one was worse than I could ever imagine.

I have eaten it in the past, and eat it very rarely, maybe once every three months or something, usually for some sort of special occasion (particularly when in a traditional Asian dish). I grew up vegetarian, been vegetarian since age 2 or something, so up to this point I don't think I had ever had a chicken sandwich of any sort. If you want to consider me not a vegetarian, whatever, but I don't think eating meat a few times a year makes me *not* a vegetarian.
