I honestly don’t give a crap about being rare. Is the something wrong with INFJs cognitive functions? We are so damn slow at studying/learning. It takes me twice the effort to understand something compared to others! It’s really stressing me out at this point.

take brain supplements, as omega 3. Changed it for me, I had the same problem and now usually know what the teachers gonna say before he says it, and my Ni always comes up with the right answer to all the questions, that even I don't know how I know. went from less than the middle place to second place without much effort:) Try comparing what is presented with previous information that went by that structure of whatever field to predict the path of the new information. Just be careful because when you improve so much classes get reaaally boring and slow and motivation to study gets so scarce.. i tend to do everything last minute now and frantically read or draw to keep me occupied enough to not die of boredom in lectures.

It can be for me also. As soon as I learn it though I want to show others and my mind will think of a million different ways to make them get it and if they can't then get frustrated bc I feel I didn't explain it right

I’m also slow at learning things.It’s also hard for me to catch up quickly unlike others.But still, I wanted to do good results.So I pointed that out, tried learning things again and again and practiced a looooot more than others. Like, maybe my classmates practiced a math once, but I practiced it at least three times. Takes a lot of efforts but it has wonderful results at the end:)

I have NEVER resonated with something more in my life. EVERYTHING you said was me as an INFJ, and I like to learn things in a step by step manner, it's a lot easier to process for me and I like to be organized. Love this video!

I did so much better and learned more after I left the school environment ,teachers always left me to my own devices most of the time so in some classes I flourished like art lessons that I loved but in most other classes the extroverted kid claimed all the attention of the teachers

I tried lot of things to study and concentrate but nothing's work. Everyone blame me mokes me for low grades and be anti-social (expect my family). My family helps me to recover from my physical problem all the times since as a child, it didn't work out the the doctors also blame me that i am lazy to study and go to school, every time i visit a doctor they mock me then referred to a physiologist and they said i have no problem at all maybe you go to see a neurologist, and it's like a shuttle to my life all the time. I am 20 now i found out myself through the internet and then i consulted a neurologist take mri and pet scan. The result is: I am an INFJ-T personality type, dyslexic, and i also have genetically over sized brain and brain lesions. This video helps me to study. Thank you for your help. Thanks to information technology. And i am computer scientist now.

Yes! I learn better with aesthetics. Also I like to know how I can apply them to real life and understand the connecting reasoning to other concepts that I’ve learned before (this helps me a lot cause then I can see a pattern and it motivates me to learn). Also, I feel like a slow learner because if I learn something new I need to grasp the new information and understand the concepts and details in depth.

Lack of aesthetics. So that's why I hated my philosophy school books. They were made with literally GREY paper (recycled probably, which is a good thing but...), and with blue and darker grey schemes. Horrible.

We are slow learner because learn incorrectly. Unfortunately, I’m lucky that I’m on the right track. I learn to understand every single inch. So I kinda top my year as an INFJ.

Thank you for the video. I liked the idea of having a look at the map of the learning journey. My problem is that I stop to smell the roses by the side of the road, take in their sheer beauty, try to figure out how they grow, I imagine how they smell in full sunshine or at midnight, I wonder whether roses sleep at night, etc… whilst the teacher is trying to pull me to the finish line of their journey. Where the teacher wants to take me is not always my destination (and this is made worse if I don’t trust them or if they just try to lead me down the garden path). I don’t care about anybody’s destination, criteria, or learning objectives if they are arbitrary and don’t match my journey. I am looking at the others sweating and trying to be the first to cross the finish line and I’m like ‘Have fun, guys, enjoy the prize’ whilst I step off the path to discover wonderful things. But it’s heartbreaking when I turn around and there’s nobody for me to share whatever I will have found. I can barely hear them in the distance, like a bitter- sweet memory. The result? Teachers have always got frustrated with me and I with them. I’m not a puppy to walk at the heels of anyone, on a tight leash, along some boring and ugly path. And I am definitely NOT interested in any trinkets presented to me as prizes 😄

I am INFJ and have always been great in academic settings. In fact, I used to be consistently one of the top 3 students of my class. It's the corporate setting now that's more stressful, but nothing that can't be dealt with. As long as there's knowledge to gain and problems to solve I'm fine.
