In Finland we kind of have actually the same problems with younger generation, it's extremely hard to find a stable job with stable income. I have discussed this topic with my korean friends often and we have a lot in common. But in Finland the problem comes from that the government has been pushing people to educate so now most of the people are over-educated. So it is hard to find a job when you have a bachelor's degree because you have too much competition for the same job openings. And if you want to apply to basic jobs like sales assistants or other customer service jobs because you can't find a job that is equal to your degree, you will face competition from those who have graduated with vocational school diploma.

hearing Kurt talk about the homogeneity of Korean society really spoke to me... not because I grew up in that, but as a 1st generation Canadian-Asian, I always felt a giant disconnect from my Hong Kong heritage when I would visit... like there was an expectation of me that I wouldn't understand. Even as an adult! It's refreshing to hear Kurt talk about it - and not as a black and white good or bad thing, but as something that is a real thing. :)

It makes me happy that you guys talked about MBTI types, because the past couple weeks I have been obsessed with learning about the different types and what the letters ACTUALLY mean (the 16 personalities website is pretty misleading in their explanations), and so I've been asking everyone I know what their type is, or trying to type them myself XD MBTI is fascinating, it's so much more than just "personalities", it's how your brain works and interacts with the world. I'm also INFJ, and the way that an INFJ brain works is terrible for anxiety and depression....that's why I've been learning and researching so much about it because it's been helping me understand myself and realize when I'm giving in to the INFJ tendencies, which is super cool :) Anywayyy.....my music recommendation is to listen to some stuff from Kazakhstan! Kazakh is beeaauutiful. My favorite groups are Ninety One and Mad Men. Watch the actual music video for Bari Biled by Ninety One, it's so good and I know you will appreciate it!! :')

Felt the music part, I really dig these days and try to find stuff that has weird instrumentation/interesting structures that aren't so formulaic/etc. The language stuff never bothered me either, I don't think I've ever got anything substantial from understanding music anyways, I tend to pay attention to vocals more like an instrument and listen to how the words are delivered more than what people are actually saying. I just like to be surprised, if it surprises me I'm happy! These are great tho, I'm totally fine with you two pumping out one a month...or two...every week is fine just make it a daily vlog yes thank you lol

i know MBTI is pseudo and the makers were pretty crazy but AS AN INFJ I feel very represented, and I feel like a ton of youtubers I follow are coming out as INFJ somehow so I'm just like PEAK happy. no but it does seem like cool that someone with some of the same character traits is doing all of this stuff and being in a different country and blabla, I always felt a bit like a total weirdo with my traits and it's just nice that you are just fine and so I can be just fine!!!!

Re MBTI. It is not an exact science but it teaches that when you are under stress you flip. I.e. ITNJ becomes ESBF. So if you never usually make lists but then become under stress, you may find yourself making lists and when the stress goes, you will discard them. I was sceptical (big time) as this was a mandatory module on an MBA but in real corporate life when lists started to appear I knew I needed to deal with stress :). And remember that MBTI is only one of the various psychometric tests available.

I also recommend iri and never young beach! indian music: Taba Chake is super cool and really chill and cheerful, more acoustic-y type tunes!!! China: if you like rap, Higher Brothers are really good. A softer start is the song “lover boy 88” which is a multicultural collaboration including Phum Viphurit who is a Thai artist (but sings mostly in English - BEAUTIFULLY) Iceland: Sigur ròs is just the most beautiful ethereal music ever :,) made it my goal last year to listen to as much world music as possible, those were some of my favourites - hope it’s helpful!! :)) 💗💗
