The list is playing it very close to the chest. Running 0 ways to stop Ash from ending your game is insane, especially when the deck has an in archetype card in Boss Room to stop it. I am curious about the lack of Monstrosity, but it's best targets are Mardel and Trias, so it's understandable. Still, definitely feel more comfortable playing this deck with a called by the Grave and a couple Crossouts

Hey, Generaider player here to say that you can run much less of the Bosses and instead slot consistency cards, another engine (Adventure, Invoked), or normals like Lonefire or Planet Pathfinder to brick less. Vala (and 3of Quest) help, but then you need to see them in your hand as well. It's actually a little awkward because Vala is useless without another boss in hand, but too many and you're just bricking more instead. Definitely a weird ratio tuning problem. Still waiting plenty of time until the new cards hit MD though, so for now there's even less reason to be running so many gigantic bricks. I've just been slamming various wild engines in to mess around and having fun with them.

If you want to splash engines in it, I've had good success with running the Numeron engine. It allows you to have some sort of presence going 2nd, and it makes the going 1st board stronger. You either get a 4 material Apollousa on top of Boss Stage, or you can go into Saryuja to dig for Boss Stage while putting level 9 bricks back

Really glad to see Generaider, but feel like there were definitely a lot of cards missing from this list. Terraforming is the stand out, but World Legacy Monstrosity, Kiji Kuri Curse, other engines, and actually running Tiras Hierachia could make the deck run a lot better. With 3 Diviners you can also add a D.D. Sprite, which can let you roll into Baronne de Fleur with any of the Generaiders, giving another negate to help stand up to Evenly or the like. Crossout Designator could probably help at least in the side deck for dealing with Evenly and Ash too

A monstrosity can summon a bunch of them from the deck, including the Mardel that's desperately needed to get your Boss Stage online, even if you have a Vala and something else in hand. It can also get out a Tiras Hierarchia, which you overlay for Laevetain, then one you sack that off, can summon again through the tokens of boss stage. Kuji Kiri giving you extra draw power, whether you have them in the hand and don't mind getting them out (like Vala) or have them on the field and they've lived out their usefullness (like Mardel).

This is honestly a weaker version of the deck. - It lacks Droll & Lock Bird, which is a MUST have as you can force the opponent to draw in the Standby Phase, locking them out of any and all Draw/Search effects in their turn. - No Boss Room, but I suppose I can understand that. However it comes up a lot and really forces the opponent to reconsider which effects they want to respond to. Even if you never trigger it, it can force the opponent to play worse by its mere presence. It's another way to Droll & Lockbird them. - A lack of Trias Hierarchia I can sort of understand. But it is a level 9 and the deck has a lot of hand traps it could draw into off the +2 with bonus spot removal. You can also Bury it with Herald and prevent its banishment by using it as XYZ material. Looping it every turn. - Condemned Witch is another option to search Forbidden spells and tag out into Loptr during the opponent's turn (but I can understand why those aren't played). - No World Legacy Monstrosity, but I guess that's the price you pay for the Pots. Both are consistency cards but Monstrosity does nothing on its own, unlike Pots. But being able to get out 2 level 9's from the deck is huge. - No Sacred Tree Beast Hyperyton, Zombie Cat (crazy Hela synergy), or Phantom Fortress Enterblathnir in the Extra, which are all very powerful Rank 9s which enable stronger plays, end-boards, protection, extension and removal (including the hand as a soft OPT). - Another bit of tech is that Hela can reborn Ash as it's a Zombie, enabling Level 12 Synchro plays. It comes up enough that it's worth putting in a Final Sigma, which can really catch people off-guard. - Appropriate is a card which exists and although not great, it's a fun bit of jank. +2 every time the opponent draws outside the Draw Phase could give you a handy handtrap just when you need it. - Frodi, Generaider Boss of Swords can destroy multiple monsters, while not allowing the opponent to draw if they are under Droll & Lockbird, or give you a way to Droll & Lockbird them. It's worth playing at 1 for this reason, especially if you're playing Appropriate to give it a secondary payoff if Droll & Lockbird isn't up.

This deck list is one of the Dire Ls of all time. The only reason to play multiples of most of the bosses is for Small World shenanigans, which this list is missing. Also might as well run Terraforming with how important it is to see the field spell. And maybe some kind of secondary engine with its own Field Spell so Ancient Fairy Dragon can be used as a pivot, this is already on Token nonsense so the Adventure Engine is probably an option, even if their fields are just literal filler.

The deck plays really well with a small Invoked+Shadoll Engine, because for some ungodly reason, Mechaba is a 9. There's definitely some better XYZ to run one ofs (such as Hyperyton[pretty easy to facilitate in the deck] and 9 Lives Cat[Hela synergy]). Mereologic sees very powerful use in sending Apkallone to get Schism to summon a Winda during the opponent's turn using the Apkallone you just sent. The fact there's no Trias in the deck is the most Dire L thing of all time though, as even base Generaider benefits from it, no extra combo shenanigans required.

My friend played a list that minimized the 9s and played 18 hand traps and has seen considerable success with it. It minimizes the bricky nature of the archetype (even with Vala) while giving the deck so many more pieces of potential interaction.

Also can revive itself from gy and summon from hand which hela cannot. I think it’s still reasonable to play hela if you really swear by it, but me personally I’ve cut it and haven’t missed it. I can respect nidhogg or naglfar as one ofs to deal with niche situations, but I have cut them as well because they don’t come up enough to warrant the brick. As for dovelgus, he used to be strong to help unbrick but he’s been completely power crept by vala imo. We don’t talk about frodi, he just plain sucks and always has.

This is like day 1 basic ass build. 1) Not playing Boss Room to counter ash on boss stage in draw phase. Like you aren't even playing Called by and then complain about losing to ash. What do you expect. In masterduel I play 2x Called by, 3x Solemn Strike and 1x Boss Room. When people ash my field spell I laugh at them. 2) Not playing World Legacy Monstrosity which literally says summon 2 lv9's from your deck and also can unbrick hands if needed. 3) Tiras is a godly 1 of that sometimes just wins you the game. 4) If the deck loses to evenly just side 3x Chaos Hunter/Lancea/any other negates to stop it. It's really not hard. 5) NO TERRAFORMING! WUT.

I get not wanting to play Monstrosity, but playing Diviner, but not at least 1 Trias just feels wrong. Playing 1 less Utgarda or Mardel would be my solution. Furthermore, you're good enough with 2 Boss fight and 1 Terraforming and you will want - at least in the side - 3 Droll, 1 Nidhogg and 1 Boss Room as those fulfil niches the deck wants to cover. Also Droll is often just completely free as Laevatein makes it live, beating some decks on its own, Nidhogg can just prevent some boards from ever becoming problematic, preventing extra deck monster's summons and Boss Room is almost mandatory in a meta with Ash. A more high-roll-y build would run 3 Diviner, 1 Trias, 3 Monstrosity and a Maple Maiden (or however the level 7 fairy synchro is called) in the extra to make Diviner a level 9 and use Monstrosity as your primary Ash bait. Your opponent will not want you to have Laevatein with 3+ materials. Space in that version is very tight though. Also, if you want to troll you can run 1 Psychic End Punisher in case your Diviner gets stopped. Having PEP as your backup plan can quickly shift a duel, especially if you get to it mid-game after eating some damage.

My favorite way to raid genders is to do it with the E-girls for my Girl*Boss deck. Having a way to spend your normal that isn't just Loptr is great, and with Trouble Sunny, it only became more consistent. Plus the new bosses help fill out your ED Without leaning on VFD as a crutch

I have the feeling people in the comments forget Kashtira can banish both your Extra Deck, and Main Deck. Playing 2-3 copies of the various important cards while also maximizing handtraps is more effective than running 1-ofs of the bosses, and external engine pieces in both the Main and Extra Deck because otherwise you will become bricky, predictable, full of chokepoints, and won't be able to access the actual capabilities of your core archetype. Accept the weaknesses of Generaider; it is never going to be nearly as perfect as you think it can be.

I could complain about the basic ratios and the misrepresentation of the combos but i wont, in my opinion, with the right build, evenly matched is not a problem, and the deck can even play through up to 3 hand traps given the right hand. But over all the strategy still falls short. Even in a deck with better ratios and a supplemental engine, the strategy still relies on the rng of the opening hand. But has a higher ceiling than is represented here. I can see now why this is a dire L. But I guess I should be happy to see the representation. In my opinion, Generaider is one of the most slept on rogue strategies, but oh well. Glad to see it on 10min.

@@turbochoochoo especially considering the three prosperity... there's so much to be done with the extra in Generaider, especially in say, the variant using Invoked+Shadoll (fun fact, Mechaba is a 9). Not only does normal summon Aleister turn on Invoked engine, it can enable WLM to get Mardel, search quest, search Stage and Room, if not answered immediately.
