I love the way you train us to have a well mannered puppy. I won’t have a puppy for another four or five months, but I’m preparing by watching your videos over and over so that it becomes real natural for me like it is for you. Thank you so much.

We have a new puppy in our home. He is 3.5 months old and is a Mini Australian Shepard. I noticed almost right away after bringing him home, that he did not respond to voice commands and noise stimuli so I started training him with hand signals. He is so smart, he picked up on it. I also made an appointment with our vet to have him checked out. Turns out his left ear canal is so narrow that she could not even see his ear drum. His right ear is fine. We are hoping that he will grow out of it but its not guaranteed. In the mean time, we continue with the hand signals, along with voice commands. I change it up at times, using just voice commands then using just hand signals then using both. I am enjoying your training videos and I will be incorporating much of your techniques into our routine as well as making my husband and son watching your videos so that we are all on the same page. Thank you very much for sharing so much information, it is greatly appreciated and will come in quite handy.

Dog trainer here. The first one to me has to be spin. Perfect way to start bonding with your dog and showing that commands are fun. 😀

Thank you so much for these helpful tips. We've had our puppy for a week now and have been practicing your methods, but sometimes it doesn't go as smoothly as when you do it. These extra tips have shown me how I can refine my approach and help my pup be more successful. Your videos are so helpful. Thanks again for all the time and effort you spend to share your expertise with us all. ❤😊

Such a food motivated dog! It has taken me quite a while to figure out what motivates my puppy, as initially food was not it!

What motivates your dog? Mine is also not very food motivated, he just loves attention. So training outside the house can be hard since he doesn’t to food outside

Curious what your advice would be for a 14 week old Aussie who continues to nip even when I give her a toy and sometimes seems to seek out my arm or hand. I’ve tried different ways to get her to stop including grabbing her collar and scruff and she will stop for a moment, I’ll ease up and say good girl and then she’ll go right back to biting

We just got a puppy. I have been watching all your crates video. I was told by the foster that she was good in the crate , well we adopted the puppy and then found out she isn't. And that they would let her sleep with them . I just got a part-time job and need to leave her in the crate. But she cries and barks. I have been working on it, but food treats water i give her in the crate she goes in halfway eats and drinks fast and runs out.i can't leave her loose in the house. 😢 please HELP!!!

Thank you so much for the training! Can we call our puppy by her name instead of the pup pup pup sound?
@OwenIsbister3 ай бұрын
Yes, you probably could
@lauraberra11852 ай бұрын
Only if you are sure the puppy is responding. Overuse of the name without rewarding might devalue the name.

How would I train if my puppy has zero interest in playing with me and toys? she likes food but doesnt seem to catch on to following the food when trying to lead her? She seems over excited almost everytime I attempt to train, I have had little to no progress and its been a few weeks of consistent training, I dont know if I am doing something wrong.

Our pup is now 10 months but from day one he got with us he wanted to eat everything on the floor and had little interest in us. We train regulzrly but not enough for his high high high energy....
