I've still got a super pro 80 that my dad bought new and logged with for years. Those were great saws for their day and as you can see they still hold their own. Of course that is a 82cc saw compared to a 70cc. I love my 371xp but those old McCullough would just change pitch when you buried them in a log and keep on cutting. Lol

So the SP81 I just picked up for $40 is worth putting some time in it? Looks like I got my answer. It has 100psi compression and a very small skid mark on the piston. What do you think?
