Thank you for not resorting to gimmicks for views. Your content is great without silly challenges and other things that people do. Also, unlike many outdoors channels I watch all the way through. I like to see the cooking and plating part of your videos. Usually, I turn off before the cooking part of the catch, clen and cook.

Taku! You should try to go somewhere where you can catch white bass or wipers! (hybrid white bass and stripers) They taste even better than stripers IMO! Or maybe all the stripers I've caught were just big lake stripers that took on the taste of the water they were in. I live near lake Texoma btw, amazing striper and white bass population here! But, not the cleanest lake unfortunately I should also note, Lake Texoma is one of the few freshwater lakes in the US that can actually support an active breeding population of striper, due to the salinity content of the waters! Still technically freshwater, but saltier than the typical lake!

I grew up catching striped bass and halibut in the Bay Area. I agree with you 💯. Stripers are a little more fishy and fatty compared to halibut. Halibut has more of a crunch when deep fried since it's so lean and usually thinner. I honestly prefer perch and cod over both of them.
