Archery point rename ideas: Momentum, Precision, Focus, Instinct. I particularly like Momentum, as it feels as though you are pushing the "momentum" of the fight before using that momentum to strike at an opening.

@@mainlookalike2247 It's not bad. I was mainly going for single words so as to remove "Points" from the term as a single word flows a bit better, though this is only really about it being spoken and has very little bearing on readability or flavor.

First of all - thank you for all your class preview videos! Great series 😊 In terms of archery points renaming I would most likely just swap to Primary energy and secondary focus - would fit the best in my option If you want a creative idea: Name secondary limb/recurve limbs It’s a part of the bow, the definition is: The limbs are the long and flexible part of a recurve bow that stores energy when the bow is drawn. Which would make sense as you pull the bowstring further, more energy is stored til releasing the string and shot. That’s fitting for the mechanics as you build more resources up, the more dmg deal the consumers.

I Just wanted to add that my worry that I brought up in a few of the first videos, that yourself and others kind of called me out on, was 100% spot on. In this video you yourself states that it was impossible to make specs not feel similar when dealing with so many.

Brigand concept seems really cool and one thing I like in COA is most classes have a variety of fantasy covered with different play styles. That is very fresh between classes.

Thanks for your conten. Don't you think this poison dmg theme a little too close to Shadra/Venomancer theme? Both stealth and both poison melee... Also do you think 4 stealth clases is ok? As for me i think stealth is a cancer mechanich, and at most it is ok to have 2 stealth classes. Othrs can have different approach, like low time stealth, or stealth without ability to strike or some kind of penalty.

Initially I thought that 'Marks' could be a decent replacement for the Archery Points name. But seeing how it is used made it less fitting, so maybe 'Concentration' could work. Or something like 'Focal Points' could work. Makk on Elune

Beautiful videos, just wait until we can all play there. I'd also be quite interested if what's there is final or if they're thinking about adding more classes. And to be honest, I'm quite sad that A52/Elune doesn't yet have the option of something similar to a necromancer (I don't count feral spirit) and at the same time that there's almost no love for pets, I'm also sad that we can't use mounts in battle (which I think would be quite funny ), and another thing is that Manastorm is now almost the only thing that can be done there, so the MMORPG has become a game for one person (which I'm not saying is completely bad, just that it's sad and it almost killed world activity) (I would like to suggest something as ability crystals for a T-shirt that would be automatically soulbound and could only be obtained from monsters in the world and would be similar in strength to epic ME/RE (example: a connection crystal that would unite 2 stances/forms into one (talents 100% but the effect itself skills 50% so it's not too op ☺ ))

imho ranger combo points can just be called "setup" you set people up for a fall, you set up your big attack, you set up to make sure the stun takes. you have stacks of setup.

Instead of archer points i like weak points. Would kind of be a double entendre. Signifying them aiming for weak points of their enemies. 3 talent trees is nice but I think a support tree named General or Tactician would be awesome as well.

type .char list and you can deactivate certain toons and then you can make an unlimited amount as far as i know. I've made all 21 classes.

Adaptation or Insight might be good choices for the points as I assume it goes down the flavor of being weaknesses the ranger picks up about the target and holds in reserve to exploit all at once. Otherwise killing intent is nice and edgy if you just want something along that line.

Evelitha on Elune Was going to suggest calling the archery point something based on artilery like you have to test the trajectory before landing the shot, but firing elevation sounds bad. Maybe just call it with simple "Aim point" or just Aim?

Ranger's Mark instead of Archery Points maybe? or maybe something like Cunning/Insight/Perception stacks. Like maybe the lore is that you are using a portion of your concentration/perception/insight/etc on the attacks to make them better. Or maybe a Mark, like some attacks magically mark your target as a prey and you consume those marks to make other attacks stronger.

Farstrider is fun with the right build, you can have all four horns persist during an encounter. I believe the Horns cap at 2 Minutes duration when rotation is done correctly.

For renaming Archery Points, I'd suggest something like "Knocked Arrows", so it'd be like with each 'builder' you'd be knocking arrows to then use all at once with your 'spender'. Only problem is that it doesn't make sense for melee spec.

Sadly feel this missed the mark entirely me. It just feels like a hunter with assassination rogue as a spec option. A Ranger to me is someone who is a rugged tracker in the wilderness who is agile and equally adept at utilizing melee weapons and bows but has NO pets. Was really hoping we’d get that mix here and not be locked to either melee or ranged or what appears to be a pet based support spec.

Killer Instinct might be a good name for archery points. It's not specific to archery, it ties in with both themes of the hunter who kills his prey and a brigand who is a vicious cutthroat killer, and it ties in with the nature theme with the word 'instinct'. The more you fight, the more you feel that killer instinct building up inside you until you release it in a sudden final attack, like a wild predator softening it's prey and waiting for the right time to strike.

You can call the resource Focus. Makes sense for archers, since they need to concentrate on their target to hit it, and brigands use cunning and dirty tricks, so I guess they need to watch their prey.

It's op af is low lvl pvp, killing my alts in less than 3 seconds when I'm just trying to hit 15. xD With how often brigand is able to burst people in pvp it needs more tuning cuz it absolutely runs people over in high level play.
