These were all remastered recently and are available on DVD. Not sure about blu-ray, but they could do that seeing how they used 35mm film to shoot it. Probably not enough demand for that though. That would be as good as watching it on real film.

Every person in a Combat Zone gets MORE "Liberty" than those stationed in Non-hostile areas. Every person also gets 30 days of Paid Leave. There is obvious not a lot of places a military guy/gal can go on their Liberty - thus the USO, Officer's/Enlisted clubs, and special tours are constantly arranged. A Commanding Officer can not consistently Cancel liberties or Leave without good reason (Under or Pending Attack, Special Operations, etc.). Hollywood should cancel All Leave for their Research Team.
