Well as Zak said they were covering an undercut from Hamilton which was only a threat to Lando. That he did such a good out lap to catch Oscar surprised everyone but was ultimately the best for the team. And in the first stint lando had to stay behind too.

Actually i do. Theyve told him multiple times for Oscar to favour Lando every time. I don't know how you don't see it? Commentators, experts and fans are saying the same. Sometimes the most obvious things you see, is just plain and simple. Its not even questioned, its just "how it is". Oscar obv accepts it and Lando is the experienced one, its his time and hes the golden boy. Hes time will come eventually, but no doubt the boys are on the up.

Let it go. Oscar pitted first in Silverstone, and Lando was told to move aside and let Oscar pass him in Azerbaijan. Lando qualified 2 tenths ahead of Oscar and he only got ahead in the luck of the race start draw, it’s not as though Oscar was quicker as was shown in the lap times during the race. McLaren were also reacting to Hamilton.

Piastri had damage in the diffuser, and the floor after fighting with Checo. He was losing almost 0.5 seconds every lap. I work for McLaren F1 so I know what I say. Lewis would have never been over Piastri if he didn't have a floor and diffuser damage.

I cast spell on McLaren to do poorly under Brown for his extremely poor style with Ricardo. Karma. BUT the imports from Ferrari and RB have put my wishes in the bin. Well done to them, shame on Ferrari for blaming Binotto for the failure in 2022, they doing a lot worse and lost key personnel. Don’t get me wrong, this will tell my age but I was a avid McLaren supporter when Prost and other real drivers put them on the F1 Map in the 80’s …the Professor. One of the greatest drivers ever. PLEASE don’t give Brown any credit for the McLaren success of late, still dislike him and his arrogance, the new guys that turned the team around deserve that credit. When will Ferrari bring Benotto back. Great team principle and I still very fond of the team Schumacher rebuilt with Ross Braun and others.
