Anyone have any thoughts on the prodigy xc vs the prodigy 2 (non-belt version or chain) with the TD sprinter model broae. Looking for a lighter affordable emtb - not wanting 26” fat tire 80# bikes anymore. The prodigy xc is lighter but the prodigy 2 has some nice improvements - I won’t use this as a commuter - maybe some mixers mode - want to do some intermediate trails in Florida.

they aren't supposed to help you go past 28 mph legally on roads most bikes that do are meant for off road use or people are checking speed going downhill some companies ask you if the bike is intended for on or offroad so they can set the limiter ofc people still ride unlocked bikes on streets
