I must know, when you send out chicks do you keep track of their birth dates? And if I order a chick will I be notified of it’s date of birth so I can keep track of when they start laying or a good time to breed and or butcher? I recently got chicks and wanted to ask you or your viewers for suggestions! What’s the best thing to do when you have a chick that is pecking at the other chicks' eyes? There is no blood but the one is definitely bruised under the eye. I put a hardware mesh divider up in the brooder and put the aggressor away from the others. When I am with them I try to reintroduce her but she is relentless in pecking at the eyes. I do have a red light on them. Tried putting marbles down to peck at and a mirror. Read that online. 🤷‍♀She only does it to the three light colored chicks so I put the black one in with her so she wasn't alone. No problems with that chick. I read they could think their eyes are bugs at first till they grow out of it. That is what I am hoping for! Any other suggestions?
