One of the few times I agreed with her was when she tried to talk the mother out of taking her psychopath son home. That kid is going to end up murdering his younger brother. In the last clip Dr Halstead was out of line for taking the canister and blaming it on her hormones. Dr Charles seems to be the most consistent professional on this show.
@noahdude628

He wasn't blaming it on hormones, he wasn't blaming the hormones of pregnancy, I more think he was blaming the fact she cared more for the kid to get the tank when he still had other options then his patient which had nothing left.

A lot of these aren’t examples of her emotions interfering with the her diagnoses, just her getting emotionally invested, something that Halstead also does a lot

Can we get a compilation of Halstead acting erratic and letting his emotions interfere with patient care? Because his compilation will be much, much longer than 10 mins. I can't believe I thought Natalie was the biggest problem, when Will was over here acting crazy from the second episode of the show until he left.

I've never liked Manning b/c she's always too judgy with her patients and thinks her way is the right way. It's the same with Halstead. He always thinks he's way is the right way and if the patient disagrees with him, he refuses to accept it.

I have a love-hate relationship with Dr. Choi. Like some of the comments say that Dr. Choi is very dismissive with mental illness, which is very hypocritical because he's supposedly a veteran with PTSD so you would think that he would be more sympathetic towards others with mental illnesses.

@@Az1anlol When it comes to the main cast, she is easily the worst character. She is completely one-dimensional, even down to the cases she handles, almost always involving a child, parent or both. She never learns her lessons. She never grows as a character. Sometimes it feels like the writers made her this consistently awful on purpose just to give the audience someone to hate. And if that's the case, by god did it work, because this character is on such levels of bad that it sometimes causes the show to dip in quality when she's on screen. It's only my opinion, and you're entitled to your own. If you don't think Manning is the worst character, I respect that. As for me, however, she is the lowlight (or whatever the opposite of highlight is) of the entire show. A truly, absolutely abhorrent character.
@Midnight0Mistress
@Midnight0Mistress Жыл бұрын
I find her personality a bit overbearing and unnecessary as her character heavily leans on the cliche of a mother who knows it all and pushing their perspective and ideas on to the patient and potentially violating their personal boundary which is damaging to women professional in an intensive field because they are preserved to be more emotional and less professional.
