"I want you to have what I can't." Man, its hard to argue with that one. She found the perfect words. She was a little bit stubborn at first about it but then House seeded that response perfectly with "how strong do you really want her to have to be?" and it all just made sense to her. How could you not want everything for your child? She's one of the very few characters in this show that could actually change their mind about something quickly without incessant pestering and badgering. Just one heartfelt sentiment from one freak to another was all it took.

With that *direct assertive tone* at other doctors, I knew she had a strong parental bond,and a sense direction that others around her treated her like a fragile piece of glass,until House who treated both and daughter like normal people. The actor playing the mom is Meredith Eaton and she had a part in the movie "Unconditional Love" (she played Bates' daughter in law) that came out around 2002, with Kathy Bates, Rupert Everett, Lynn Redgrave, Julie Andrews, Jonathan Pryce, and Dan Ackroyd. It basically went straight to DVD, but I liked it, and have a copy.

Meredith Eaton is fantastic and so versatile. I loved her role in NCIS. She was good on MacGyver, too, but I just couldn't get into the show as a whole because I'd loved the older one as a kid. I wish she had another major role in an ensemble cast.

The site stings afterwards for a good while unlike other injections where you only get a small scratch from the needle and no discomfort after. It's nothing to do with how skilled or not the person injecting is and no you don't sound insensitive. Nobody like getting a shot or having blood taken so I don't envy you that job. People can complain for a number of reasons, genuine or not.

Its 100% true. My sister cut her teeth in the local ER. All the best doctors were complete and utter A-holes.....BUT they were also intensly dedicated to their craft. When i decided to get my spinal fusion my sister made sure i had the best spine surgeon in the city......complete jerk......he also fixed the vast majority of my chronic pain i had been dealing with for almost 15 years. In the words of muhammad ali. "It ain't bragging if it's true".
