Thank you for sharing Erica, I'm experiencing anxiety as well and I relate so much with your experience. I started the Gupta Program 6 weeks ago (mildly severe, 100% not able to work) and have had some incredible process since then. Haven't crashed despite integrating a lot more activities, and I feel a lot more stable and less shaky. For the first time I feel that I have a chance against the illness and not having the constant threat of crashing. Obviously, it's different for each person what helps. But what I wanna say is that the Gupta program is really solid (and affordable and refundable in case you have no benefit), so it might be worth exploring.

Great interview thank you! I completely agree about striving for full recovery...the pressure was making me worse....now I'm just focused on progress and making the best of my current level of recovery and I know one day I will fully recover but I don't have to wait for that 😊

Great interview, thank you for this. I've tried a lot of the brain retraining programs...i think the Gupta video series is the most organized and does a really good job of explaining what's happening w/ the brain & what's causing the limbic loops. I found the actual brain retraining technique (similar to Erica) to be unrealistic in terms of being able to keep up with it all throughout the day. Re-Origin's technique is the one i use (simple and works) but i still will watch some of the Gupta video's for education, motivation, etc.

@Matthew Demitroff As you know, many/most programs have you use a visualization after the 'pattern interrupt'. I've heard that ANS Rewire has you do something *other* than visualization, and I feel like I've heard the same about Re-Origin. Is that true? If so, would you be willing to give a basic description of what Re-Origin has you do? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for another great interview! ❤ I have found the Curable app and their podcast, “Like Mind, Like Body,” beneficial also. In addition, I would recommend the book The Way Out by Alan Gordon & Alon Ziv. They had a podcast for a while (“Tell Me about Your Pain”) that is still available and that I found very helpful. Again, Alan Gordon is focusing on pain, but just substitute the word “symptoms,” and it all fits. The podcast “The Cure for Chronic Pain” (symptoms) with Nicole Sachs also includes a lot of interviews with people who have recovered. I feel that recovery stories, wherever I can find them, have helped me more than anything. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for sharing your journey through this Hell Hole.. I can 100% relate to your story.. My Dr. , at one of my worst symptoms.. recommend a 4 week trip to Hawaii.. It was all I could do, is to gather enough courage to get to my appointment.. I am still struggling with severe anxiety.. hearing your story helps, just to know I'm not alone..❤

I found a way of making your inner child do the ART of the Gupta program in the background 24/7, very effective and effortless.

And how does this look like? I found it very useful, to breathe slowly and mindfully throughout the day and to feel this safe, peaceful, lovely, comfortable place deep within you and to keep all this together with a smile and say: everything is fine. Ist that somehow similar to what you refered to in your comment? I think, the gupta retraining technique is more useful for me when i am doing it while laying in bed and in a way that suits my personal illness patterns. 5 Cycles while standing on the floor could really be exhausting.

I think it could be challenging in the beginning if you invest more energy in it than you could spend and if you do it to ambitiously or watch too many videos to get the useful informations too fast. But this is not a fault of the program. As others wrote: it would be more helpful, if you could explain it in more detail, what actually make things worse for you. However, I hope, you will find your individual way to recover!

When I very first did it, it did make me panicky but I was advised to take it more slowly and that did work. How long did you do it for?.
