Me coming out of the dumbwaiter at school!

Filmed on January 29, 2016: This was just a random little video at Clements High School in Sugar Land, TX. on the Atlas dumbwaiter. Notice how I opened like a freight elevator style doors.

I wouldn't suggest doing this in the future, as dumbwaiters likely are not designed to be safe for passengers, even if you didn't ride it (as in, if the cables snap, there may be no safety mechanism to prevent the car from freefalling)
