Well, nice to see Bionicle coming back into the spotlight on TV like this with Tuma and Surge 2.0. Wish they weren’t shown to just be minions/henchmen characters though but I’m definitely interested to see what this show has in store.

I don’t know about Bionicle, but I know Hero Factory was on Nickelodeon (Mainly Nicktoons, but still the same). So I’m assuming it’s some kind of deal that they can use the models, but not the actual characters (by name and origin mainly).

Ah yes, the good old days of constructible figures, one of my favorite ideas of Lego. How very nostalgic this is to see Lego put Bionicle and Hero Factory back on screen.

Of course, it’s very strange that LEGO decided to show some characters from HF and Bio, and from those parts that they haven’t produced for a long time, but I hope that this is a hint at a very soon return of buildable action figures. I wonder if Lego makes sets based on this movie, will they add bionicles from the same old parts or make them from the system?

Hero Factory was my childhood favourite toy growing up, and I also had a fond affection for Bionicle. Seeing both make a comeback makes my nostalgic heart pump like crazy right now. Hopefully, we can see both themes return in a reboot of sorts?

This had better mean that they’re bringing back those specific sets as (mostly, Tuma can do without the fragile joints) identical models to their original. I’ve always regretted not picking up Tuma back in 2009. They probably won’t but *I* really think they should regardless of how absurd it is to expect them to revive a bunch of retired molds for something like this.

I don't know if I should be happy witnessing this, or utterly bewildered. It's cool to see Lego do something with Bionicle again, but they did it in such a weird-ass way. Why is there an army of Tumas?? Did they really think people weren't going to notice that? It's kind of hilarious, actually. XD

That isn't a new model of tuma..... That is a full Moc revamp OF Tuma with modern amenities Edit: looking at bricklink The parts don't exist to Give Tum those hands. Surge yes

While I find the cameo appearances of Bionicle's Elite Skrall Leader Tuma and Hero Factory's Mark Surge 2.0 to be silly and a nice nod to the constraction figures nostalgic fans have cherished, I find that whoever's decision/idea to do this was kind of a disappointment too because of how this animation could've been used more often back then when the sets were released. It's as if the fans were robbed of what could've been made for them (cooler Bionicle animations or more product advertising). Now kids are going to be confused and upset that they won't be able to get these old sets because LEGO no longer produces/sells them and can only get them from outside markets (ex: Ebay, Bricklink, etc.), used (cheap) or new (expensive). Finally, I hope LEGO & Marvel are aware of LEGO's TWO original IPs being used like this. It would've made sense if Marvel had their own custom goons (it'd also be a cool toy as well) to be used instead of having to recycle old LEGO models that even Marvel fans won't be able to recognize right away (RIP Mark Surge's model being a villain and not of a hero). Other than the rough rant I made here, this special is just made for the laughs and it'll be good. :)

Although some may say “wow there just mindless clones in the collectors army 🤓” this is something, probably some fan of Bionicle just trying to squeeze as much Bionicle as they can. Just trying their hardest to show the immense love they have for the series through the smallest way that they could. Viva Bionicle ❤️🤎🖤💙💚🤍
