Congrats on the 11K subs! That's a lot of sandwiches lol Regarding video essays on music specifically, I agree that there is a bit of a gap on KZbin in a sense on the subject. There definitely *are* people making videos on music, but I'd say a grand majority of them are straight-up band or album reviewers, where the youtuber in question is giving their opinion on whether the music (or band) passes their personal mustard. What got my attention on YOUR music essays specifically was your drive to show how the music you're talking about has a grander cultural significance and/or impact. I really loved your two videos "Why Green Day Matters" and "Why Songs About Jane Matters" for exactly that reason, and I was kinda wishing for a while that you'd make a "Why __ Matters" series for music. I ultimately get why you didn't because you can easily pigeon-hole yourself that way, and it can be a slippery slope of making videos out of obligation rather than passion... but I'm always interested in watching your music essays regardless. I don't comment as much as I know I used to (oftentimes I just don't have anything worthwhile to write), but I'm still here! Congrats again on how much your channel has grown in this last year :)

Thank you for your support over this journey! The "Why ___ Matters" series is very much still alive in my head and I always have ideas about it. Heck, my ideas document is titled "Why ? Matters" because that was my original series I was going to do for the channel. Overtime, other topics started to pop up that were incredibly intriguing. "Why Noah Kahn Matters" is another installment in the series and I have some others planned out for the future. Thanks for leaving this comment :)

Some of the most memorable parts of Fort Collins in my time growing up here have been by that sign. The ridge is so pretty. I'm glad I can support the locals, Bellvue is so beautiful!
