just another small piece of the puzzle. This is a remote controlled, 4 output control box. I wanted to be able to control my bass amps and turn them off in times where i wont need them running. Also to turn the fans on. I will probably use the others in the near future as the build progresses.

its not a mess. Its clean. I dont need the fans on all the time just on hot(er) days....most of the winter, i wont need them on unless i know i will be playing it hard for long periods. After i take the box out one last time, i will probably install temp sensors and make it full auto

i would think wit how hard the subs pound that the lil bracket wouldnt hold the 4 channel remote box witout puttin a lil bit of rubber or somethin that will grip the remote box better n also apply a lil more pressure to squeeze onto the remote box

@vinnieb
@vinnieb 15 жыл бұрын
Hey couple of questions. Why didnt you just jump the remote wires on the amps so you would only have one remote wire for the amps that are powering your subs? would of been alot less of a mess. Also, why didnt you just tap the fans on the remote wire to the amps? Thats why whenever the amps come on the fans will too. Can really see why you would wanna turn the fans on and off by themselves.

the headunit turns the remote control box on and off, he controls the control box by remote and when he turns off the headunit the control box id off to so fans cant be on.. ;)

Quick question. I know this video is old but how did you mount the buss bars? Did you have to fabricate a base by siliconing it secure or was there just an area that you could screw/ bolt them into.

I'm just curious as to why you solder and heat shrink EVERY wire.. It makes for a solid conntection of course, and is neccesary for some wires.. but couldnt you just "Butt Splice" and Crimp the remote wires to save time? Just curious. 5/5!

is your boy a tweaker? No offense but it would take way to many solar panels then my roof can fit to charge 10 batteries....not to mention that if they are made of glass like most are, i would probably shatter them. Oh, i would also look like a damn tweaker with that on my roof LOL! No offense to you though man, thanks dude!!
