Hello Sarah, I am Maria Wyss, today I finished my lovely shawl. Is in pearl colour with dots of browns. It was a pleasure to crochet. I wish I could send a photo of it. Thank you for teach me so many different stiches. I been doing hats andmore. Done the gloves with the thermal stich, it was a challenge but done them!

I love this pattern but found that 354 chains were way too long almost down to my calves , after the first 4 rows I had to take apart and chained 282 . if you are medium to large size and somewhere between 5’2 to 5’5 282 chains should be ok

I agree with everyone that it is a beautiful pattern. The yarn texture is nice as well. I personally wouldn't use this type of yarn due to the splitting of the fibers. My eyes were distracted by the issues you were having.
