Ye agree. We live in the south side of Glasgow. It was soo good to get away from the city life to quiet life for a week. We stayed in a house for the week 5 minutes away from the ferry terminal, it had perfect views. Went for walks everyday. We took our oldest daughter to the fun fair next to the small coop & she loved it there. It's such a beautiful place xxx

@joannemccurda2667 LOL, I am in Rhode Island. I am facing a career change at this late age, and when I think about where else I would want to be, I can't think of anyplace else. As much as the culture here is different, the weather is, to me, Divine. I grew up in the midwest. I'm on the coast, and I can not imagine a place where temperatures in the winter are usually in the twenties and thirties. It almost never snows, and there's an ocean breeze. And green space. That's hard to compete with

Love the meals of the week and always give a 👍. Those bangers & mash looked so good. I’m going to try a new recipe today for Sunday dinner using Swede called lanttulaatikko that has cream, nutmeg and treacle in it, and topped with breadcrumbs. Plan to serve it with some roasted pork loin. Hoping it’ll turn out good. 🏴🇺🇸
@WhatsForTea2 жыл бұрын
Oh that sounds wonderful Anne 🤩 I'm sure it will turn out great x
@annegraham43072 жыл бұрын
@@WhatsForTea the Swede recipe turned out okay. It was nice but just not worth all those extra calories from the heavy cream and buttered breadcrumbs. I’ll stick to the Scottish way of just mashing it with some butter, salt and white pepper.

One wonders what Nicola Sturgeon will be having for tea? ... Now she's soon to no longer be FM, I do hope she can afford the spiralling cost of food? 🤣 Incidentally, it's pointless asking, as you never reply, but by the time you've shot video of your meals, they'll be stone cold! ... I can't abide cold food, unless it's supposed to be cold! ... My meals go cold in 30 seconds flat, particularly in Winter! 👎🤣 EDIT: Burnt Garlic Bread on Thursday! 👎🤮🤣 (Due to an infestation of hate-filled trolls, and the toxic nature of social media, I no longer monitor or revisit any comments I may make!)
