Maria…You looked like a boss making the first recipe while wearing a jean jacket! ✔️ I’m the youngest of five and I used to always tell my mom I liked burned food because I didn’t want her to feel badly so she and I would eat it… 🤷🏻♀️

A wet paper towel placed under your cutting board can help stop it from moving around on you. I resisted this tip for a couple of years but since the first time I tried it I've never gone back. It makes cutting stuff up on your cutting board so much easier

kitchen hack for rolling out the canned biscuits - use wax paper! sandwich the biscuit between 2 slices of wax paper (I try and make the paper square as close to the size I need to stretch the dough to for easy squishing lol)- they wont stick and they seem to spread more evenly, too

Maria I just watched a you tuber making chicken and dumplings from scratch, But she gave an oral recipe for what she used to do when she was a working mom. She took non flaky (layered) canned biscuts, cut them in 4 or 5 and rounded them into balls and put them in a chicken gravy/soup mixture that she cooked, to make quick chicken and dumplings

I used to make egg mcmuffins for my husband, it was so involved, toasting the english muffins, frying each egg individually in an egg ring so it would fit the bread, cheese and sausage patties that were each fried separately, way too much work and though he enjoyed them, he loved something even more after I made him some breakfast roll ups in biscuits. He actually told me don't make the mcmuffins anymore, he really loved the roll ups and they were so much easier. They seemed a lot like your breakfast calzones but yours might have a bit more filling than my roll ups. Thanks for sharing.

Always keep can milk or powder milk in your pantry. If you run out of regular milk you can use the can or box milk it only costs Penny's.

I love recipes that utilize ingredients in unconventional ways! I've also had good luck freezing canned biscuits, put the cans in a freezer bag just in case one has a oopsie lol. I'm working on converting some recipes over to shelf stable and this will be a good one using dry pizza crust mix, thank you!

So my sister in law is Hispanic. She is an expert at refried beans. I take what she has taught me in various other meals. This is advise fore the Canalini Soup. She uses the bottom of a fat plastic drinking cup to smash the refried beans.that makes them an uneven mash. So I was thinking we could use the same idea with the soup. Smash those beans with fat plastic cup. We all have at least. She calls it her bean cup If she tells her children to bring her her bean cup. They know which one they are talking about. Another funny thing, every glass in the house might be dirty but that cup is never used. If you want something to drink you have to wait until they wash you one.lol😅

I think our Walmart, canned biscuit dough like that is running $2-$2.50 each. But from-scratch, rolled biscuits made with lard aren't too hard. Lard because it is cheaper than butter and not a hydrogenated fat like Crisco. Because these recipies don't need the biscuits to rise in the oven or be light and fluffy - the dough could be made the night before and stored in the fridge until making 8n3 of these recipies.

Girl I just wanted to tell you that we got our T-Fal frying pan from Walmart I hardly ever wash them with soap it sounds nasty I guess but they come clean you just heat them up and wipe them out it's been over a year my ex still don't stick they slide around on the pan even when I fry hamburgers or bacon or anything I just wiped the pan out and it's been really two years because it was Christmas of 2020 that I got them
