Like your videos, better than 99% of the KZbin trading content trash. I like you share strategy details and backtest. The backtesting looks a bit "overfitty" though, since you just optimize a bunch of paramter. Doing so will usually give you some great combinations that fit historic data. Do you perform any evaluations to see if the optimal parameters also work on data it was not optimized on?

Would you mind telling us how many you run simultaneously to produce a meaningful number of trades without overexposing the account in a particular direction? Also, have you come across any mechanical strategies that work for time frames lower than 1H?

Interesting video and thanks for sharing. Since the strategy is relatively simple, as a test I coded this in MQL5 as an EA on MT5. It is not profitable on any TF lower than 12H. Even on daily bars, I'm not getting the results you're seeing. For example, for 2015-2023 I am getting a win rate of 18%, profit factor of 0.97, so almost break-even. This using a SL and TP on the SMA cross, since not doing so results in even worse results.
