My wife was diagnosed with leukemia (CLL) 10 years ago. She gave up animal protein after reading The China Study. I'm happy to say her cancer never progressed, she is still stage 0 and has not needed treatment yet. We can't prove it was the diet change, but she is doing great.

@@amylee9 She tries to avoid all types of animal protein from both meat and dairy products. She used to drink lots of cow milk ever since she was a child, at least 8 oz a day and sometimes 16 oz. She now drinks almond milk. I changed my diet also, to support her, 10 years ago. We both follow a whole food plant-based diet. We stopped buying things like potato chips, and cookies. If we are out and someone offers a cookie, we may have one. We just don't keep them in the house. The China Study cookbook has lots of great tasting options. Hope this helps.

Vegan since 1985 I am 63 years young, weight 185lbs, height 6'3" tall, full of energy, take no medications for anything, total cholesterol 141. Vegan for life and never looked back! There is nothing to look back to.

@@lynnglenda18 Yes I do take plant based supplements but meat eaters are also deficient in B12. It is good common sense to take good quality vitamins to supplement your diet to ensure you get the most nutrients in your daily diet.

That is awesome! There is a time to eat certain foods and in your older age (not that 63 is old just older I believe its all about the mind set) But time wise Vegan is great for a particular group. People think that diet is one size fits all. I am here to remind everyone that your body is different therefore we all need different things! I probably eat steak 3 times a week minimum am 25 bike 18 miles a day am shredded but there will be a time where the Vegan diet may benefit me more.

Cancer is big business. I live just north of Atlanta, and on the radio they are always bragging about new cancer treatment centers popping up left and right. It has become so normalized, so mainstreamed, that if you suggest a correlation with a person's "normal" diet and their disease, they will think you are crazy.

I was diagnosed with cancer in1979 I did not like the medical options and walked out on the doctors and went on a plant diet amongst other things. I have not been to doctor or taken there prescriptions since. I am now 73 and in excellent health. Edit. 2 years later. Now 75 and still going! strong! Edit Now 76 stronger and healthier than ever. Oh Lord it’s great to healthy I eat nothing but plants every day. Edit. Now 77 Wow. I started running again last summer after being crippled from a car hit and run when I was out running. Thank God for the plants that heal and having the knowledge to not eat the meat that cripples!

@@memetozturk3514 I eat a variety of whole plants including nuts and seeds. And some oil. I might eat fish once every couple months. I also rarely eat eggs. I use butter and lard. The amount of animal protein is almost 0. Almost everything i eat is made at home from whole plants. As much of it is organic as possible

@Mike Jones Read what i said I don't eat animal protein. Lard and butter are animal fat not protein. I stick up for vegans because i have been on a vegan diet and i know the truth. I still don't eat any animal protein. Except eggs very rarely. AND THE ARE ORGANIC !! I do not claim to be vegan and never have. I wear leather every day. So quit calling me vegan.

Here in America, I believe that most people who dine on the standard American diet do so for pleasure more than nutrition. Food is used like a street drug for many. It brings comfort with every meal. I tried preaching the benefits of healthy eating to many friends and family members. None of them want to hear it, even the smartest ones (some are doctors), probably for the same reason that a smoker or drinker doesn't want to hear about the dangers of their addiction. They get a tremendous amount of happiness from these substances and are willing to ignore the warnings and even the obvious negative side effects of their habits for the great pleasure they receive. You can knock them over with the evidence but they will ignore it because it would demand that they make a big change in their life by giving up what they have loved for something perceived as much less pleasurable.

You articulated it well. Standard American Diet is a S.A.D. way to eat. Processed foods have been created with the intention of addicting the consumer. The corporations responsible for distributing the toxic foods are dominant in marketing industry. That's already a deadly combo but then one goes to a doctor who hasn't been trained to go to the root cause of illness but instead prescribes chemical drugs that only alleviate all of one's warning symptoms from the toxic foods that have been taken in from ones diet. A sad and vicious cycle indeed.

I know exactly what you mean. When I tried to pass on this information to family, most of them told me to stop talking. But some listened and improved their health. Even if you can get through to some it will ,in time, make a positive difference.

Yes, people get a dopamine rush from high calorie food (animal products and processed food). After a short time, people become addicted to high calorie food (the dopamine effect they get from it is reduced to moderate pleasure). From that time on, they get no more pleasure from it than they once did from healthy food. However, when people are addicted to high calorie food, if they try eating healthy food (plant-based whole-food, which means less calories), they experience low pleasure from it. They can again experience the same moderate pleasure from healthy food, but only by going through a few weeks of withdrawal period, during which healthy food will only give them low pleasure. This is information from 2005. I don't think that is the case anymore with McDonalds and trade deals for beef in 2019. The Chinese are not as cancer free as they used to be.

Not just Chinese.It happens anywhere where people are healthy,strong on traditional diets where take out, fat food and processed food, dairy and larger consumption of meat is introduced.It's not hard to look up. Even remote tribes that were healthy, disease free and active into their 90's and after,suddenly develop common diseases of the western junk diets. Their life span drops dramatically in no time. It is criminal what the mainstream food industries are doing, but in the end, the individual is the one to blame.Especially now with so much technology,all one has to do is put words into the internet to research. But 99% won't give up the garbage they consume,whether it's food,drama,TV, worthless negative tv, movies and music,they just won't shut it off even for a minute to research and better their lives.It's a very sad situating but it's reality.Every single one of us has choices and are 100% responsible for ourselves

This is true and you make a good point. But it doesn't matter. The fact is that in the years leading up to 2005, rural populations all across China were still intact in such a way that allowed for optimal conditions to conduct a study like the one outlined in Dr. Campbell's book. The China Study. The results of their studies remain valid even though demographics in China have changed.

I grew up in Shanghai, China. I have grandparents are well live up to age 92. My father is 87, and he still rides his bike in the city of Shanghai. He is in the great shape with unbelievable memories. Truth been told is they are consumer meats and fishes along with vegetables everyday. I believe balanced diet along with regular exercise are the keys for the healthy & long life. Practice gratitude & away from too much social medias Will enhance the quality of your life.

@@gafenglaI'm not writing with my mouth. The only reason meat eaters get heart disease is because of their 80-90% plant based diet which cancers and tumours love. Refined carbs and sugar that cause inflammation to which cholesterol reacts and causes build up a lot of crap. Veganism is nothing more than a diet to help kill you quicker with a shrinking brain (brain is basically cholesterol) and make you reliant on meat eating corporations. China study, where the meat eating rats got cancer but the vegan ones didn't. BUT, the vegan ones lived 50% less longer. The meat eating rats lived twice as long but few got cancer. They forgot to tell you that they were using meat from ill and cancerous animals not fit for Humans. Only real diet is meat, fat and cholesterol. The real diet before cancer and rumours were a thing.

I've just had the biggest health scare of my life - I've nearly died laughing at your reply. I am 72 years old and never had a real illness in my life and I have been vegetarian for around 40years ,vegan for 4years. You should be in front of a judge for calling Dr Campbell a fraud - he is one of the greatest research doctors of our age and has more integrity in his little finger than you have in your entire body. I am the same body weight as when I was 21 years old. Keep eating those dead bodies and try to get at least a part time job in a slaughterhouse - I have great respect for people who do their own killing. Maybe one day you will overcome your bestial !

There is a great argument weather God intended humans to eat meat or not. Some animals like lions were intended to survive on meat. God made humans the most intelligent highest form and he gave us a superior brain to figure it out and make intelligent choices. At 21 I became a vegan/vegitarian and my running improved drastically i stayed meat free until I was 36, then I started to have many issues weight, eyesight prob back pain, afrib and other heart issues, had to go to er 3 times, snoring, restless legs, calf breakdowns when tried to get back to running, alergies etc. at 53 went back on vegan diet, I run 7-9 miles a day no head aches , 159lbs and dropping 6ft tall i run very fast for my age. No glasses etc 62 years old. Soon I intend to break age group records.

Dairy consumption increases breast cancer. Dairy is full of the hormone estradiol because the dairy cow is milked while it is pregnant and it has been measured in the milk. The 7th day Adventists are often studied because they are health conscious, don’t drink alcohol or smoke, and eagerly participate in studies. ADVENTIST HEALTH STUDY 2 showed the more milk the Adventists consumed the higher the breast cancer. This study was confirmed by a study in China, CHINA KADOORIE BIOBANK STUDY. The Conclusion: The more dairy you consume the higher your breast cancer risk. ¼ cup/day of milk increases breast cancer risk by 17%.

You definitely don't need a medical doctor to tell you this, I know this doctor specializes more in the natural but there are people out there like myself who are experts in the natural who can explain this in greater detail ...because it's what we live and have lived for years and years, yes I'll milk products are toxic unless they are natural milks like cashew milk rice milk coconut milk etc...... I gave up meat around 25 years ago (I mean beef) just because it's toxic and hard to digest therefore reeks havoc in the body

UK BIOBANK STUDY: Looked at 300 people following a low carbohydrate high fat (keto) diet and compared them to 1200 people on a standard diet. It concluded that the risk of having a heart attack, peripheral artery disease, and stroke was double that of those following the standard diet. Other things to note on a keto diet include: high cholesterol, constipation, and a smelly breath.

The EPIC-OXFORD STUDY, part of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition, examined the diets and health outcomes of over 65,000 participants. It found that vegetarians had a significantly lower risk of coronary heart disease compared to meat-eaters.

I can’t eat fruits and vegetables.. puts me straight in a flare and will end up in the hospital.. I’ve tried over and over.. I finally excepted it and don’t eat them anymore after not healing.. I stick with good beef, grass fed bone broth, pasture eggs, grass fed butter, chicken that were never fed grains and raw dairy.. it keeps my mind and body healthy ❤oh and noooooo sugar or seed oils ever 🤮

What about defence chemicals in plants? Due to gut problems, some cannot tolerate any plant foods, and are - to the contrary - healed from various health problems (physical & psychological) by ingesting only high fat animal foods.

Humans were eating meat and dairy long before it became an industry, it was a rare commodity and often consumed fresh and only as needed. It became a problem when it became mass produced, processed, and distributed. When chemicals were being introduced at every phase from farm to table to maximize profit. When those profits financed efforts to kill reform and regulation while pumping up demand. Meat is supposed to be a small part of our diet, an indulgence enjoyed maybe once or twice a month, not two or three times a week.

The information you just listed is very outdated reducing fat intake is tactic used by the food industry to help them make sales. Sugar is your prime enemy it’s what causes obesity strokes ect.. Most chronic illness are linked to high insulin resistance levels.

Exactly! It is not that meat and dairy cause illness! Big Agriculture causes illness! Not ONE family member of mine in a whole family of small-scale farmers who raised pasture-fed cattle, dairy cows, pigs and chickens etc. and ate animal/dairy products EVERY day, died from cancer, heart disease or any other modern-day illness. NOBODY. The great grandparents lived into their 100's. The only aunt who died a terrible quick-killing cancer was the one who married an "industrial' farmer spraying fields with glyphosate many times per growing season right up to their backyard. She was the ONLY vegetarian in the family.

I have to wonder if milk and milk products cause cancer of any type? Several months ago the latest release of the 7th Day Adventist study showed that milk and milk products produced a 40 percent reduction in breast cancer among Adventist women. And yes, the researchers from Loma Linda were shocked at the results but felt they were duty bound to report what they had found.

Better without meat, eggs, and dairy. I suffered from metabolic syndrome (obesity, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and high blood sugar). I went whole food plant based no sugar and oil and low salt and I lost 65 pounds, all my conditions greatly improved, my gums stopped bleeding, and erections and energy returned. I used to have an appetite that was never satisfied; whole foods cured it. I no longer use a sleep apnea machine. Finally, the food is cheap-Beans, lentils, sprouted flour less bread, rice, potatoes and seasonal apples. Also, I save money by not having to buy pills or visit the Doctor. I am thankful to all the vegans who suffered attacks to reveal the truth to me.

They didn't look at those variables because that would have made their results even worse and would not be comparing apples with apples, the study was done to compare just meat because it gives it a chance to prove itself against a plant based diet.

Plants are loaded with toxins and anti nutrients and some are even carcinogenic. If only people were more compassionate! If they were they would realise meat means an animal with intelligence and feelings. I won't tread on an ant or snail if I can help it. I fish out insects that have fallen into my pets water bowl. It gives such a good feeling when you save a life however small. I am a vegetarian all my life almost. I feel sorry for people when I see them eating animals. They are not only damaging their health but their soul too. There is cruelty in that food, they are eating cruelty. Nothing about meat or dairy. From the 2015 BMC article, "Oxalate induces breast cancer." Not risk, or maybe, or might or it could. "We measured oxalate concentration in both human breast tumor tissues and adjoining non-pathological breast tissues. We found that "all tested breast tumor tissues" contain a higher concentration of oxalates than their counterpart non-pathological breast tissue."

Exactly. Nutrition science is BS. One study says keto is good. And has shown people recovering from cancer through keto. Then some study shows carnivorous diet is good . There are people who seem to have recovered from their health issues by sticking to carnivorous diet. There are people who staple on eggs bacon and beef and lived up to 90+ There are cases or lifelong vegans or vegetarians who had cancer. Some nutritionist say plants have a defence system that actually has toxins so plants should not be eaten. Then you have so called religious gurus saying the only food to be eaten and meant to be eaten are fruits. And so on and on and on. WTF world is this. It is extremely frustrating . All these studies on nutrition on vegan, carnivorous, keto, vegetarian etc etc all Bull shit.

Sounds like you are a follower without doing research like so many others these days.Do you remember how viral the paleo diet was? and recently the keto diet,not to mention all the ones in between.You barely see anything about the keep diet anymore because now the greatest fad is the carnivore diet.I assume it will be short lived like the keto. What makes more sense than to follow these diets that don't last enough to even do studies on, is to follow what we know works over many or thousands of years. This China study on this video is only one example. But go back way further to the blue zone groups of the world. Wonder why the keto and carnivore pushers never mention these? The blue zone groups have a life expectancy of around 100 years.They don't suffer diseases and stay super active into those years.They are plant based. All these meat diet pushers ever mention is the Massai tribe,they eat meat, blood,yes,but also honey,berries and some plants.What the meat pushers also forget to mention is these people do get diseases and by age 42 are considered ancient age. Which sounds better to you? a healthy 100 plant based years or a 1/2 life of average 40 years on earth? While I respectfully disagree with Dr Campbell, as the China study has been noted to have cherry picked much of the studies data. The results are highly biased. We now know, through more rigerous studies that cancer, through the pathway of glycolysis, requires substantial amounts of glucose to thrive. Therefore, diets high in sugar and carbohydrates, are linked to increased rates of hyper insulinemia and cancer. The normal human diet of millions of years ago is what we should eat. That is, a diet high in animal fats, proteins, and vegetables, with minimal to no carbohydrates and sugars. A vegan diet contains to many starches and whole grains which equals sugar. Plain and simple: sugar is bad

Dr. Campbell only used about a chapter's worth of information from the epidemiological study of the same name and cherry picked correlation and attributed causation without actually proving it. That same study also shows positive correlation between a plant based diet and stomach cancer and colon cancer.

NOT TRUE! I was having numerous health issues due to eating mainly vegetables and raw vegetables. I like veggies so much but they caused none stop bladder crystals that stopped my permanent catheter up and I could not urinate for days...so miserable and dangerous! Once on a organic, grass fed Red meat ONLY it has cleared up. Other medical issues are beginning to improve. I may eat NO vegetables, carbs, sugar, dairy products except if RAW organic milk, no chicken or pork but I may have my own organic free range chickens eggs and organic raw fruit, I am a farm gal. I am an Herbalist and agree with my Homeopathic doctor whom put me on this new life.

We need to understand that diet is only one way of preventing cancer. That is why we see vegans getting cancer. Because you can eat all the veggies you want, but if you have a high stress life, live in a toxic environment, and do not exercise, you CAN get cancer. Diet is only one layer of protection and cancer grows for different reasons. I am vegan and got breast cancer because of estrogen dominance. My tumor is 95% receptive to estrogen. Lack of exercise was my mistake, which lowers cancer risk in women with hormone imbalances by up to 55%.

​@@cal9112 minerals and vitamins are much more absorbable from meat. Plant foods are really hard to digest. This doctor is selling a book. His work is inconclusive. Disease is primarily from additives and GMOs and far too many carbohydrates. Plants are poisonous and cause too much inflammation.

@Zeeshan Khan sadly, I had to stop. My hair was falling out, and when I stood up, I got really dizzy and almost passed out. I also started feeling like blood sugars were dropping. I'm so pissed off because everything was going so well.
