Thanks for the review! I’ll get one and give it a try.

Just bought one of these. My deli meats do not fit with the guard on top. Do you just sit it on top of the meat and does it help bring it down, having problem getting clean cuts because the chubs are so long.

Does this one cut thicker for Jerky?

I want to know how loud it is. I'm trying to decide on one. But the noise level means a lot.

@@RMSpeltzFarm I'm on the fence on which on to purchase. Would you consider doing another review with sound? I've seen a few on others, and the units are so noisy.

Would it do frozen meat?
@residencecollins31923 жыл бұрын
I would let the mea thaw a bit. Being frozen is harder on the blade and motor

Slightly frozen meat actually slices easier and produces less drag on the blade. Back in the 90's I worked at a pizza place and we did a lot of Italian beef and it was always either very, very chilled. They had a commercial slicer of course but years later when I started making it at home I found that slightly freezing the beef was just much easier both in terms of cut quality and the load it put on the slicer.
