16 years old, in rural Ireland driving to my first dance with a battery powered cassette player blasting out Bat out of Hell. Meat Loaf was with me all through my teens and has stayed with me my whole life since. Thank you Girls and thank you Meat! RIP😢

He can pull the moon down, never lie, run into Hell and back, let her shine like a jewel in the crown of the holy sun? Come on! I'm 60 years old (I know the territory). No. One. Can. Do. That. But....but....Meat Loaf's performances still pull me into his wild vortex of energy and passion, where I can't help but believe everything he's selling. All of it. He was a true force of nature. What a lovely tribute to the man and the performer (especially enjoyed how he ditched his bike, too, after his daughter fell). Thanks, Aday Family, for sharing your dad and husband with us.

Pearl and Amanda, your Dad remains my favorite performer of all time. And the home video clips in this tribute confirm what we all hoped was true, which was that he was as special a person off stage in his private life as he was to us fans on stage. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing these clips. We love you, Meat!

Thank you Pearl and Amanda. Your dad meant so much to so many. Everyone has a Meat Loaf story. Mine? He saved my life. At a low point in my life, I was suicidal. I just sat in my car and blasted his music. I'm still here. Much love and thank you for sharing your dad.

Thank you Girls, its selfless of you to share this. It must have been joyful and painful to create this collective. You will likely never know what he means personally to fans like me. It seems unfair to even tell you but he has saved me so many times- just through his music. I realize he was your Dad and it must have been devastating to you to have to say good-bye to him too soon. I promise you he will never be forgotten 💕

I hope for you both and your family continued strength and grace as you navigate through moments of loss, grief and numbness of change. Your dad's life, as an actor and his legacy of music will live on to comfort and inspire us all. And thank you to Adi for keeping the memories alive and accessible. I will continue to "fan" the flame of remembrance for "the Beat Is His Forever". Rest In the Lord's Peace Meat.

I met your dad in 1970. He was acting in a play in downtown Detroit. I believe the play was a version of “Hair”. He came with some of the members of the cast. My apartment was located in a suburb in A city called Farmington Hills. This was before his singing or movie days (I believe ?). I was in my late 20’s. I think your dad might have been a little younger? I had a strange feeling about him… something similar to when I had seen Elvis in 1956 at the Fox theater in Detroit. Elvis had dark blown hair and only about three records at that time. I was a cast member of a teen dance show on TV in Detroit at that time. Elvis played the whole week at the Fox and only filled the first five/ten rows in the audience. My best friend and I stood about ten feet from Elvis and felt a strange aura coming from him. As young as we both were.. we both knew he was destined for greatness. In felt that exact same feeling when I met your dad back in 1970 in my apartment. I just never knew how great of a rock opera singer and actor he was going to become one day. I was not until his Bat out of Hell album came out that I became a stone cold fan of his. I just watched your video tonight (11/02/2023. I cried. What a great so very talented man he was. Jerry Still.

They came in after we closed and I got asked to stay and wait on them. I stayed and waited on them and it was a great pleasure to met all of them. The best part was when I was given a photo from Meatloaf and he Autographed one of my tickets that we wrote our meals on. It is a night I will never forget. Thanks a lot for this compilation. The first I encountered your Dad was on German TV live at Rockpalast. He was more than a singer, an entertainer, a performer and an actor. My favorite is Paradise on the dashboard light, particular the performance in German TV with Karla de Vito. Unfortunately I was never able to see him live on stage (lack of time when I had money, or lack of money when I had time). Your compilation gave a small hint of the person not on stage where he was an extremely superior presence.

Thank you for sharing your dad with us over the years. I bought my first Bat Out Of Hell cassette in 1979. It was my end of date going home music. If it was a good date, it was Side 1. If it was not so good, it was Side 2. I wore that cassette out in three years and replaced it with cassette two. When that wore out it was replaced by CD. It is the greatest album ever made. Jim and Meatloaf, thank you for all the years and I'll be looking forward to seeing you both again one day on the other side of the bridge.
