​@@joethealternativegamer3935 Yes Please do, my reccomendation to cover in terms of recent WWII content would be Easy Red 2, a Singleplayer/Co-op FPS TPS Experience that not only has a decent campaign but is cheap, has multiplayer, a map editor, modding tools and several decent sized dlcs that are cheap totally worth the price and add assets to the editor. Console currently has no map sharing and modding but if it can be approved the devs want to add it.

EA really screwed up the franchise, not really by doing anything wrong per say, games like COD owe their existence to Medal of Honor. But the idiotic notion to set newer Battlefield games back in WWII again when it had established itself as a modern setting, which lead to brand confusion. But turning MOH into a buggy, "We have Call of Duty at home" knock off was pretty much the nail in the coffin. BTW did you see GOG has released the first two Dino Crisis games? If only Capcom did the same.

While I love this series, you can see that ea was pushing out too many Medal of Honor titles in a short period, let them breathe a bit. I think frontline and allied assault was the same year! Those are two massive heavy hitters. I do enjoy the modern reboot but it did suffer from trying to play catch up to cod when it should have just been Medal of Honor

Medal of Honor needs to go back to its WWII roots. EA should make a new instalment for the PS5 where the main character is a British soldier who joins the Special Operations Executive

@@joethealternativegamer3935 The American WWII campaign has been done to death. A British soldier would be fighting at Dunkirk, Narvik, North Africa, Italy and Holland while Jimmy Patterson was still in basic training

The problem with modern games is that they almost never try even slightly to appeal to the old school audience. While, arguably so, there are some exceptions (whether new games, remasters/remakes/reboots) like DOOM, Wolfenstein, Resident Evil 4, Cultic, Conscript and Trepang2 (really just games that came up to mind with classical elements), the rest of them always aim to the newer audience in order to fill in for those with the attention span of a brick wall. The second problem is that gaming has turned into an all-around business. Can game X make Y money? Build it. Good gameplay elements aren't allowed, only high-def, photo-realistic graphics. I believe we will never return to the golden age of gaming.

I have such nostalgia and good feelings when I think of MOH its sad they cant figure out how how to replicate such a winning formula. I think your absolutly correct in saying what set it apart was the mix of WWII and being behind the lines as an OSS operative having to put on disguises and go undercover whether it was the UBOAT mission in Trondheim Norway or linking up with the female French resistance fighter, hiding in the back of a truck, fighting all over the map from North Africa to Europe I always yearn to find something that can give the feeling of playing those games truly being immersed behind the lines in WWII. MOH Allied assault had the best single player missions ive ever played they captured a feeling of historical accuracy, excitement and captivating environments I still remember all the maps and missions, playing online with a friend from school. Also can we talk about the amazing soundtrack!!!

I believe the best approach for the MoH franchise would be to have Aspyre or, preferably, Night Dive Studios handle the remastering process. They should make the games available on modern hardware, incorporate some quality of life features, and perhaps EA would greenlight a new project. However, I am skeptical that any of these large Western AAA studios have the desire to create a truly great game.

I love medal of honor. Started with rising sun, but also LOVED 2010 en warfighter. Made my inner child felt like a real special forces operator. This needs a reboot or a remaster, but done right, and thats seems impossible these days

I think they should focus more on another war instead of World War 2. While that is my favorite historical subject, we've got tons of them. I would think the Vietnam war, or Korean War setting. Heck, the Cold War.

MoH, today? Nah, I don't think so. EA is screwing royally with their IPs it's sad to see how mighty fall from grace. Look at remake of Dead Space. What a joke. 2010 reboot was average at best. Maybe EA could do remaster of Allied Assault, Spearhead and Breakthrough on which I am fully aboard to play. But the problem that rarely anyone notices is that ww2 shooters are becoming passe. Even CoD is focused on modern stuff rather. I believe that audience if even cooled off from MoH, as players waste their time on multiplayer fps. WW1 sounds though as cool setting as it is rarely explored in video games, but I am afraid EA has little patience for it. And MoH has to be a historical piece!

MoH Above and Beyond VR on quest 3 is a good game and a good experience, ok it has its flaws but it still gives a good ww2 experience. I really enjoyed it and still play it to the day.
