Medela pump in style pumping session, pump with me! TONS of tips and info!

Hello! I’m a regular busy mom with two kids who hates to pump! Here is a lot of what I’ve learned along the way. If you have more questions or tips for me just let me know please 😊. I crammed a lot of info in so if you’d prefer shorter broken down videos let me know!

Hi! My name is Andie and I’m a mom of a 4 year old girl and 8 month old boy. I currently stay at home but I just started subbing as a preschool teacher at my previous work location again. I love working with small children and have a B.A. in Child Development with a specialty in Infants and toddlers. The funny thing is, ever since having my daughter, I have felt like a complete failure! So now I’m dusting myself off and trying to build my confidence again 😊. Oh I’m so sorry, that’s so frustrating 😣. I hope the models helps and you can build a stash! Have patience, when my milk dropped, it took about two weeks of pumping every 2-3 hrs to get back on track. I wasn’t using supplements to help though... I just didn’t know about them yet. Best wishes!

This is crazy. I’ve only ever gotten an ounce each time. So jealous.

Ugh I feel you, with my daughter I would pump about an ounce combined in the beginning. I’ve recently learned that some people’s bodies and breasts are not “activated” well by pumping. I thought this was really interesting, that just because you’re making milk doesn’t mean pumping will come easily. So frustrating. Good pumping vibes to you 💕

Sorry if you've already tried this but a tip I heard that is working for me is to pump for say around 5 or 10 mins after your milk stops flowing to tell your body you need more milk.

Flange is not pronounced “phalanges”. Phalanges is the medical term for the bones of the fingers.
