An epic sounding title that should sound like the epic conclusion to an unforgettable epic, turns out to be mundane and disappointing. Patreon: / mediahunter

It only grossed 8.8 million dollars? I guess that was a PLANET OF THE EIGHTS... I´ll see myself out.

8.8 buys a lot of bananas.

I saw this at theater when they re-released them in the mid 70's. Looking back it definitely looked like a made for T V. Movie on CBS

I would not touch the 2001 one with a bargepole.

I actually liked the 2001 remake except for the ending. (I know it is based on the book, but it still was confusing to me at the time since I hadn't read it then)

I hope you tackle the TV series some day, even if just in overviews.

gonna be honest, i feel like the mutants in this film should look similar to the ghouls from the fallout franchise.

They are human survivors not mutants.

That’s got quite the lineup to choose from; that’s where all their early live-action lives came from and many of those are good films

How about something aquatic like The Little Mermaid or Luca ?

You could review The Little Mermaid and the sequel Return to the Sea.

That one was pretty bad. Not the worst of the D2V Disney sequels, but it’s easily in the top 10 worst

This wasn’t exactly a high note to end on for the franchise, but it could’ve been way worse. JoBlo did a good “Awfully Good” video giving this some love. And as they said in the video, the one person you gotta give huge credit for in this film is again Roddy McDowall carrying the acting burden upon his gifted shoulders; he is the highlight of the last two films since he keeps giving his best as he always did

Well if you after you do your own marathon of whatever piece of media you want. Can the marathon after that be on Disney’s Stitch franchise not just Lilo and Stitch movies and tv series, but the expanded universe consisting of an anime continuation called “Stitch!” and a Chinese midquel called “Stitch and AI”.
@LucyLioness1003 жыл бұрын
a Chinese midquel?! The hell! That automatically demands coverage
@bearerofbadnews13753 жыл бұрын
@@LucyLioness100 yeah “Stitch and AI” takes place months after Leroy and Stitch, but before the anime it had a 13 episode run and was cancelled. And no it does end with stitch leaving China. So the whole midquel thing might be a stretch.

Mad Max was years later. They stole their whole aesthetic from this film.

I think that you should do the reboot series in honor of the new movie

thoughts on reviewing Born to be Wild (1995), a family adventure movie featuring a Gorilla?!

I know I am in the minority here, but as a kid, and even now, this was always my favourite of the 5 movies! I think my family likes this one best too (with the exception of my Dad that liked the original one the best). And I am talking about the original release, not the extended version. I guess we are all just shameless optimists, but we always saw that tear at the end to signify happiness that there is finally peace. It wasn't until the advent of the internet that I knew that others took it as a tear because the peace would not last, and history would repeat itself
