I've been using my t2i in a studio on manual...setting the ISO to 100 or 200, aperture and shutter speed...during shoots I've found the setting seem to change without me doing anything. It became most noticeable when the shutter speed went to 1/320 and half the frame was black being out of sync with the strobe. I'm using the 'Q' button to change settings...My question is am I doing something wrong or is the camera broken?

@MediaUnlocked11 жыл бұрын
You can put it in M mode keep you iso as low as possible set your aperture to what is needed to get the lighting right then lower shutter under 50 and play around with it. Make sure you are holding the camera as steady as you can when shooting with a low shutter. I hope that help
@StevenLipson9312 жыл бұрын
@MediaUnlocked The difference between a crop sensor and full sensor is an increased field of view. There is a magnification factor with crop sensors that full frame sensors don't have. The rebel T2i is a crop sensor with a 1.6x magnification factor. This magnification factor is the equivalent to zooming in 1.6x on a full frame sensor. Another difference between a full frame sensor and crop sensor is that a full frame sensor gives your photos shallower depth of field.

Av- is aperture priority- you set the apeture, and the shutter will be set accordingly automatically. Tv- is the opposite. Shutter speed priority. you control the shutter speed and the aperture size changes automatically to create the proper exposure. I'm not trying to be a "know-it-all", at all!!! idk much!! just wanted to make it clear. Ty for the info :) beautiful lens as well! create on!! ~peace*

Question. When I put my t2i in the automatic mode and look at my screen, it looks great. It shows me exactly what the pic will look like when I take it. However, when I put it in manual(M), the screen is A LOT darker than it should be. When I'm focusing on something, the screen goes back to exactly how it's supposed to look, but once I take the pic, it's back to being dark as hell! Help!

Lol, AV mode is Aperture Priority , you will have the control of your F/stop or Aperture and the camera will adjust the Shutter speed and the ISO for you to get a correct exposure. This is good if you want to focus on one particular subject of an image. eg, Portrait photography, etc etc.
