Your videos really helped reduce my anxiety about pilling my cat. We are getting the hang of it and I am happy to report we are still best friends :-) Thank you so much!

Thank you. My cat needs daily meds and I’ve been really discouraged. It’s impossible to swaddle him alone and it’s really difficult pilling him. This gave me some hope.

Why didn't this vid come out on top of my search feed? Other vids, helpful enough but not as much as yours. OMG, thanks a lot. Very comprehensive. Extremely helpful, may God bless you.

I'm so grateful I just found u. Imagine having to give meds to 10 - 7month old kittens and 14 - 3month old kittens (some still rather feral) all congested with a cold (or cat flu). They need eye meds too. Oh! And that doesn't even include the 9 adult cats that need those same meds with 3 being feral. Side note... Now Imagine of all the 48 cats & kittens we sparingly help provide food and meds for off one small income, but only 7 cats are ours (and even 4 of them only became ours from all the feral cats bringing their kittens to our car porch every time they have kittens. My health has declined since seeing about them. I literally won't eat so I can use my food to help feed them. My husband is so understanding and I appreciate him so much. But I hate that he's the one always having to conform just cause I can't handle watching them beg for food (so u know I definitely don't have the heart to scare em away.) Pray for me. (Side note...4 of the small kittens that are sick crawled in my lap and chest to comfort me cause just typing this put me in tear. They keep looking back with their eyes swollen and almost matted closed. They worried about me not knowing I'm the one worried about them.) Sorry so long. U just don't know how much I'm always looking for help...even if it's just for the big little things like this. I'm losing it.

Woww...you are so loving and just too good..so nice of you to take care of all the cats..I wish you good health very soon..I am the same, I am on starvation diet so that all the cats in my care (inside as well as outside) eat well and have all other comforts.

By far, the most helpful video on medicating a cat! I searched hours and hours of videos 2 weeks ago for how to pill my cat. Figured out how to do it, but never found your videos. Now we are doing liquid meds and that is when I found YOUR videos. Wow! So much helpful info, tips and techniques. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank-you so much! This video was so helpful, I was able to successfully medicate my resistive kitty without stressing him out. He hated every second of it, but it was quick and easy for both of us! He was recently hospitalized with CHF, so he’ll be on meds twice a day for life.

This video was absolutely fantastic. The holding the pill with the index and thumb and opening with the middle finger is an amazing tip (also the leaving her nowhere to back up was a good tip). I was able to give my cat her pill with pretty much no struggle. Something about that method just worked. I dropped the pill in and she swallowed it right up. Im so sad though because it was the last time I had to med my cat. I had to put her down the same day I gave her that pill. :-( But thanks to your vid the last moments with her were so much less stressful than it had to be thanks to your video. Thank you so much!!!!!!! This is the best one for pilling a cat for sure!!!

Just found this, as medicating my cat is getting more challenging with each pilling/dropper session. Although, I have been doing this for years with various cats, Marky is clever and wiley with this, and tuna juice has been my go to. Love the parfait and I have never heard of A/D, but if it would put the weight on, I will try it. He is very constipated and is so far, successfully dealing with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, treated by vet and chinese and a few other herbs. He also has severe constipation, so it's vital that he drinks water and I give him daily subQ's. If you think that dairy products might make him go, will run it past the vet, she's pretty good with all things alternative. Thank you for posting this - seeing it many years later!!!

Thank you for doing a great job on this video. I actually found at pet smart a “saucy” type of cat food that I can mash my cats arthritis meds in and tried what you had done. Just giving her the new food so she will take to it and not detecting anything and thereafter had used two different meds and mashed it into the new food and she ate it up without any problem. You truly are a Godsend in helping all of us animal lovers. Hopefully what I learned from you, I can pay it forward to someone else that’s going through similar issues. You’re cats are beautiful.

This is a great video. My darling cat is difficult about taking a pill. I have been finding pills on the floor my cat spit out after I was totally convinced she had swallowed them. Am going to try the pill popper behind the canine tooth approach along with the scruff hold. My current pill popper does not hold a 1/2 tablet dose (it falls out) so I'm getting a silicone tipped pill gun. Plus I'll be adding a syringe of food or water chaser too. Wish me luck!

Thanks for the videos. You are so great with the cats! I can’t seem to make it work myself. Liquid meds in the morning and at night. My cat is a Calico and she hates this. I don’t like it either because I can’t seem to do it well. We mixed her meds in her food this morning and she ate most of it. The meds are temporary thank god.

Looks easy if you have a cat that just lays there and let’s you do that. I’d like to see the video of the cat that runs away, wiggles and scratches, won’t open their mouth, is in pain from recent mouth surgery. How do you give liquid medication to that cat?

@@FundamentallyFeline Do you need a prescription for this? The petco site seems to imply you do? Anything else that the kitty would like? I haven't found a treat she's crazy for yet. Someone also suggested tuna .. so I will give that a try.

I'm in need of help. My 14 yr old Tabby male, Garfield, is experiencing pancreatitis. I've NEVER had a cat that foams at the mouth. The liquid meds, the pills, everything foams out. Idk what to do. He's anorexic, eating very little, drinking very little, lethargic. I've called the vet back they say I can bring him in for him administer the meds, but they're every 12 hours & it'll be very stressful on Garfield. I'm trying to get through this at home as the vet doesn't believe he has a liver disease or anything EXTREMELY serious based on the values of his bloodwork. He's not recommending hospitalization. IDK he's not getting better yet.

That doesnt work with demon cats. I got chewable benedryl, dissoved it in tuna juice and syringed it a little at a time in the side of her mouth. She didnt like it, but it was doable. The chewables were nit as bitter as the regular benedryl. It only came in grape but that was better than crushing regular tabs where she would foam at the mouth.

Let's be honest. If manufacturers actually put some effort into making pharmaceuticals tasty or in a totally different shape/form, care givers wouldn't have problems of any sort... I mean, is it really that hard to understand? How can they even barely expect for pills to be eaten by an animal ??? Sorry for the rant, nice video. Food for thought by the way...If somebody has the resources to do this, you got a billion dollars idea floating around here...
