Ein super Stück. Warum hört man so etwas nicht mehr im Radio?

I love this song and the band, I was 14 when this was released, I'm 63 now and I know it sounds like a cliché, but they just don't make them like this anymore, what an era .

Summer of 73. I met my future wife in Dec 72 and this was a magic summer! Being 28 helped!

@gagidroid776... I got married on August 18th 1973 and this was the last song I heard at home before I walked out holding my Dad's arm to go to church...sadly, I'm still with my husband but no longer love him, but this song will always take me back to that day.

Oh, when you speak it's just like a symphony Oh, your fingers touch me with poetry Don't underestimate what you mean to me You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun You're like a constant glimpse of the rising sun

Only 13 thousand views eh. Should be 13 million. Listen to the words. I have used them to woo a special lady. Magic

I'd forgotten this. I remember it sounded a bit alternative at the time - a nice presence in the charts during an underrated year.

Brilliant single . Many thanks R'box and 5thdisvent! Plenty of "Family" connections - with Tony Ashton producing and of course Rob Townsend on drums. Presumably TF and JHE had a bit of extra help in the studio. Be My Flyer was a superb B-side too!

Yes, I did! Cost me 45p. Forty years on I'm still enjoying its lovely, fresh taste. And it reminds me of a special friend. Tripe? I think not - no, I know not.
