Incorruptibility is important to remember. If you are incorruptible, you realize that your soul has no price - it is infinite in value. When you realize the value of your soul, the devil cannot trick you into selling your soul, and making you lose your path in this life, make you get lost. If you get lost, with good guidance, you can still find your way back to the light. Similar to how Pinocchio, when he stopped being a rascal, and started doing good deeds, was turned into a real boy. But without help, or without having the wisdom to know where to look for guidance, it is difficulty to find your way back to the path that God shines upon - where you are both protected and you can see the where you need to be walking. Proverbs 4:6-7, "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding."
