Hi Linda! Thank you so much for creating this content and making it accessible to all. I’ve been suffering from severe long covid these past 4.5 months and your meditations were often the only tool available to me that brought relief and calm. (Doctors have been no help) Thankfully, working on reducing stress and focusing on my gut health seem to have brought improvements to my recovery. And with each month, I feel better than the one before. Thank you again for all that you do ❤

thanks Linda, please do realise not all chonic illness can be healed, often we hear that : focus & it will happen. it can be faith-karma-etc, that some of us do suffer physically a lot, yes 'positive' thinking is one - it may not be 'cheating' (not right word-i'm dutch) ourselves tho. acceptance is helping & gratefulness for so much valuable is good :). and feeling bad & sad is ok as well, in this society it isnt accepted 'gotta b cheerful & not complaining', i feel that as inhuman, everyone should b able to tell when its not ok as well, sharing good & sad (sortoff), thankyou♥
@LindaHallguidedmeditation5 жыл бұрын
I hear and understand what you're saying Chris. I agree with you that there needs to be room for sadness, not feeling positive and acceptance of what is. Thank you for sharing.

These meditations are lovely and very useful BUT the entire point of the term 'chronic illness' is that it denotes a long term condition that can be managed but not cured. Something to consider when choosing titles,as realistic expectations are more helpful for suffersrs and their carers than false hope and the undue pressure it can bring.
@LindaHallguidedmeditation3 жыл бұрын
I completely agree with you Sue about there being no cure for chronic illness, I live with several chronic conditions myself. I personally see 'recovery' or 'being in recovery' as a term that describes the optimum way of living with a chronic condition mentally emotionally and physically. As you'll know, mental heath has a significant impact on the symptoms of chronic conditions.
@suewhite66123 жыл бұрын
@@LindaHallguidedmeditation I think most people equate 'recovery' with 'cure' or 'getting better' but like yourself those who live with chronic illness know health is often a spectrum which can vacillate over time. I notice you are more explicit about the objectives of your courses elsewhere and I appreciate your sincerity, expertise and the great value of what you are doing for a community often abandoned by the medical profession.
