@@williamdrum9899 Staryu's JP name is "Hitodeman", so it likely used JP audio. The anime, at least in the OG series, would sometimes not change their cries from JP. So Charizard's cry would be "Lizardon", Onix would be "Iwark", and Electabuzz "Eleboo". That's why sometimes their cries wouldn't match up to their English names.

I've done this, it was pretty fun! Since krabby has high attack and low special, a lot of the times cut is better than your early water type move, and strength can also be better than surf! Plus you have harden, so you can try strategies where you take advantage of the badge boost glitch. I'm pretty sure I was level 75 after I beat the champion. Although I was lucky at times, I think someone could probably win at a lower level. I'd like to see MDB give it a shot!

As much as I love your challenges, I'm really relieved to hear the next one not be in Kanto for a change! I'm a little tired of being Gen 1/Fire Red runs just because they seem to happen so often. I completely understand why you do them so often, tho, they're quick, usually challenging and all that. But I really miss seeing you do challenges in other games, and I really hope to see some more challenges in future generations beyond 3 or 4 again! Those ones are always the most interesting to me. Loved it MDB! Challenge suggestion; a no EXP Run. (You can turn off exp gain in some of the roms). All and any pokemon allowed expect legendaries and no limits on team size. The only catch is, of course, you have to use the pokemon at the exact level and stats you caught em in/with. I think it'd be really interesting; it'd force lots of clever strats and combinations of pokemon and TM usage

Hello MDB, I hope you are doing good ;) I don't know about FireRed but I've played Leaf Green many times when I was younger and the slot machines at the casino are actually pretty easy in this game (the symbols in Fire Red are not the same, I believe, but I don't see why it wouldn't be easy too). I think it would be faster for you to try them rather than farming money (and potentially wasting it) to buy stuff with coins. I really like Staryu and Starmie. Staryu’s leg band breaking upon evolution is an interesting detail.
