So as far as how you outsped red's snorlax with yours despite being much lower level, part of that is because you get boosts to stats from having certain badges. But npcs (even those who canonically have those badges) don't get those boosts. Anyways, going to keep asking for black/white with a ralts. Comments are good for the youtube algorithm.

i have a suggestion for a run: you can pick any game, but you can't purchase any items from any Marts or street vendors. handouts are fine, but otherwise you have to go full scavenger

If you want more runs which aren't solo challenges: paired version exclusives (e.g. beat Pokemon Black with only Reuniclus and Gothitelle, where you use the UPR to start with Solosis since you can't catch it in the wild) and pseudoexclusives (e.g. beat Pokemon Black with only Lilligant and Whimsicott, where you start with Cottonee and use the ingame trade to acquire Petilil; Throh and Sawk work similarly).

I have been watching and rewatching your pokemon challenges for a little bit now and this run inspired me to do my own normal only run in scarlet! I used Maushold, Hisuian Zoroark, Grafaiai, Farigiraf, Cyclizar, and Arboliva. It was pretty fun!

Mono-type runs are fun. Looking at mono-types is how I realized there are NO non-legendary pure flying-type pokemon. So a flying-type mono run is literally impossible in most generations, and would require a legendary in others.

I just wanted to comment to say how much I enjoy yopur challenge videos. They are as enteraning as when you did creepypasta readings back in the day when I discovered your channel. I wanted to do my own challenges but outside of Pokemon when I tried to do a Mario and Luigi run while only upgrading stache and a hard mode challenge I found online. A few runs that I find it could be fun for you to do: - Any game with only attacks with a base power below 60. - X or Y with only Greninja with Ash's moveset (Cut, Aerial Ace, Water Shuriken and Double Team) - Sword/Shield with only TM moves

For the record, you can actually get Girafarig really really for the ghost and fighting gym. Once you can get access to Mt Mortar, you can pass right thought to the Lake of Rage to get him. One of my favorite early accesses in the game.

I have a idea for a challenge! Hidden grotto pokemon only (b2w2) You can get the first pokemon after the 3rd badge but you can use the randomizer to make one of the starters the ranch's grotto pokemon with hidden abilities! (Sap sipper marill, scrappy lillipup, rattled dusnparce) Grottos can take a long time but I know you'll grind it anyway

Pokémon Challenge suggestion: You are free to go with the game of your choice, but the challenges is using only middle evolution stage pokémon. (For Exemple: If you pick Bulbasaur as your starter, you can only battle with Ivysaur.) You are not allowed to use pokémon who's has no evolution or only 1, it must be a pokémon with a 2 stage linear Evolution. So pokémon like Eevee or Tyrogue are not allowed, but pokémon like Oddish, Poliwag or Ralts are allowed. Try number: 3

I have an idea for a fun challenge, One that means you could even use Drowzee. Can you beat Pokemon Black (Or any game from gen's 5 ,6 or 7) with only the move Assist? Purrloin learns Assist at level 6 so it'd be the starter, Then if you get a male Purrloin you can breed it with other's to get more Pokemon. I think this would be a great wacky challenge since the more Pokemon on your team the more random the move is. For any that don't know Assist uses a random move known by any of the user's party Pokémon, With some exceptions. So even Pokemon that can't use Assist would still be useful if they have good moves that Assist can use. Drowzee is in the Human-Like Egg Group so If you want one with Assist you'd need a Spinda since they're in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so can breed with Purrloin and Drowzee. You could also use a Chimchar as a starter if you give it Assist as an Egg Move, They're also in the Field and Human-Like Egg Groups so a male one can breed the move into any Pokemon with Assist.

I did a Furret run in Gold a couple years back - actually inspired by your videos - and managed to beat Red with only a Furret at lv. 87. Moves were Thunder- and Ice Punch, Dig and Headbutt. Snorlax was a pain to get past, but once I managed that, the rest was easy.

You should do a run where you can only use pokemon whose national dex number is prime. Primes start 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, etc. Which would be (potentially) ivysaur, venusaur, charmeleon, squirtle, metapod, weedle, pidgeotto, rattata, ekans, nidoranF, nidoqueen, vulpix, zubat, etc. Obviously easier if you do it in Kanto, but quite difficult if you start in a later region. For a Johto run, you'd have 157, 163, 167, 173, which are typhlosion, hoothoot, spinarak, and cleffa. There are more but i don't feel like writing them out lol

24:20 Snorlax isn't just the best normal type in GSC, it's THE best pokémon, period. Snorlax dominates smogon OU and is very good in ubers as well, it can easily compete with monsters like Lugia, Ho-Oh and Mewtu. So yeah, obviously a must have in any run you're allowed to use it.
