Great interview. I’ve identified a few things identical to my situation. My situation is very similar but a lot different. Together for 30yrs, married for 9. 3 kids, dog, house, etc… Divorce has been on the verge for a year now and I was finally served a month ago. I know my ways were controlling without knowing until now. We’ve both become codependent thru the years. I’m a diabetic with kidney disease and on dialysis. Wife says the bad outweigh the good. Doesn’t want to be a widow alone and wants to be able to know she can stand on her own without me. This makes me feel like she thinks I’m gonna die very soon which is not the case. She’s had nothing but loss (death) the past few years. Diagnosed as bi polar. Has mental sickness she’s been dealing with. I was also stubborn like Alex. She took care of me and I didn’t follow or appreciate everything she’s been doing. I’ve been doing my best to make changes and I thought I was doing great for over a year being consistent. Then all of a sudden she says stop trying. I’ve filed for divorce. I’m so lost I don’t know to keep fighting or let her go. I don’t want to seem selfish or controlling. Let me know if and how you think this program can or can’t help me. Thanks for posting these videos. It gives me some hope.

Don't pin being a better man on whether you think she'll come back or not, that would be selfishly selfish. Do it cus you want to cus you know it's right and u enjoy it. Thats my opinion. Good luck man sorry to hear you've got so much on your plate

Hi Geoffrey, I have been with my wife for 4 years have two kids, she recently decided she no longer loved me and wanted to separate and eventually divorce, she’s told me pretty much everything I’ve done wrong and even though I try and get her to open up she says she has already told me everything, should I keep insisting she talk to me? Or has she pretty much told me everything already

Omar, you may need to go back to what she told you and listen/analyze it deeper. I felt that way before joining Geoffrey's tribe. She may have told you everything you need to hear, but like me in my ordeal, you weren't listening to her at all.
