Shes such a mature three year old! My 10 yr old ottb has been living at our current barn for TWO YEARS and still picks days to be terrified of the cross ties and wash rack, and she just takes it like a champ the first day! 😂

The fungus stuff is probably scratches, all my horses get it when it's hot and wet outside. I just put Vaseline on it overnight, wipe it off in the morning(the skin nasties come off with it and since it's softened it doesn't hurt them) and then neosporin or corona and it's all healed in a couple days!

If she was on the track, she maul have track rash on her legs (the fungus you were talking about) it just comes from the silt of the track getting caught in the leg hair and not rinsing out after or drying before being wrapped. It is common. She is very cute... u think you SHOULD talk about the caslicks. No one really does. And it is a thing ottb have. (Some). Cheers love the videos and the new poner

Such a beautiful horse! Just in my opinion though. I don't like cutting horses manes and trim the hair from there legs and hove's. There is a real use for those things in a horse. It looks cute and nice but I just wouldn't do that. Horses need the mane hair for flies and to look big for a predator. and the hair at the back of the hove's is a drip line for rain water to run off. What a sweet horse and you are very pretty to :)

thank you(: we actually don't have any flies at our barn like I probably see one or two a day. they have short grass and a fly spray system that really works. as far as water dripage, zo & bubs both have enough ergot for that process to happen, and they are welcome into their stalls as they please when it rains - like it did today, and they stayed in of their own free choice! thank you for the support & advice
