I have a few ideas that might improve on your design. One of them is creating a type of mesh sandwich, you can use the mesh material that you have on both sides and a light fabric like a shemagh between so that most of the moisture can be captured with the fog

Are there any consequences to the surrounding areas due to high yield fog collections? Just wondering if because you harvest from one area does it affect another?

NO, it is impossible to collect water from all air. Air is all around us and never goes away.

En dense foggy zones get more than 50 litres of wáter per m² in 24 hr period. I ride off-road in Peru Bolivia & Chile in Andes. Best water to drink.

I've often wondered why we dont look more into desalinising sea water as there's loads of that to be had

i heard the water is a type of water that has no minerals, so other countries add the minerals for drinking. it just help to have the liquid.
