Please do not use running water from faucet to wash the resin prints... the resin will contaminate the waters downstream, since it's in raw form and not fit for filtering systems.

Sorry that this is 3 years late but you can wash with water for your parts if you continue printing. If you take a break for a while or want to clean the printer for selling then you would definitely use IPA or alcohol on it as a precaution

do you need the curing station or can it sun dry ?

Still an UV resin. So Sun is fine. But the curing station will produce more pro results, simply because you can cure 24/7 👍

Is the water toxic afterwards? I really don't want to be flushing toxic resin into our rivers and streams.

As with any chemical mix you should not flush it to the drain, as it will trouble the water treatment station. You can reuse the water clean bath to reduce the dirty water volume. But expect that after a while, as with IPA bath it gets "dirty" and not as efficient as clean one. Dirty/chemical liquids must be disposed at the local recycling station near you. It is the same thing for an IPA bath or for painting washout for instance.

You just poor the dirty water on a tray outside and leave it in the sun to evaporate. The remaining resin will then harden on the tray.

Where can I find god damn printer profiles for this resin? I am trying to use it on an anycubic photon s and I have been printing the printer validation square and have tried 8s, 5s, 4s exposure time and none of them look correct???? Has anyone used this resin on an anycubic photon s and found the right god damn settings?

@@ElegooOfficial Thanks a bunch. I assumed the anycubic photon s with its color lcd would be close to the standard elegoo mars and I see the bottom and regular exposures are 60 and 8. I printed the validation test square and it seemed a bit over exposed but when I tried lowering the exposure times the area with the interlocking bars seemed under exposed so I just went with the default 60 and 8. My part is printing now and I will let you know how it turns out in the morning. Thanks again the spread sheets are very helpful.

No, all kinds of resin are toxic to your skin, but this product is much more easy to wash off if you accidentally get the resin on your skin.

@@trefhi I think one could wash it over a container, collect the water, and set that container out in the sun to cure and filter the hardened resin and throw away. It was impossible to fully filter out IPA since the chemical itself inhibits 80% of the curing process but now that we can wash it in water, we can properly cure out the washed away resin!

I want to make a note about washing since nobody is talking about this. My first print was a large skull, it failed due to not enough resin in the vat so I did break tests with the printed 3/4. After a short wash and some curing it held up remarkably well for resin, surviving being thrown to the ceiling and landing on my Linoleum kitchen floor without damage several times. Then later I noticed most of my finished prints were very brittle, one of them crumbling with little force after curing and being limp and squishable before final cure. I did some thorough testing and long story short, do not leave the resin in a water bath for more than 2-3 minutes, after 5 in the ultrasonic it is markedly weaker and after 40 the cured print crumbles like a cookie. I'm not sure if it is absorbing water/minerals or if something is leaching out, but overwash and you will be sad. Washed briefly and the resin is surprisingly strong. I also tested air cure vs water cure, and while the water cured resin was slightly softer/more-brittle (most noticeably in thin supports), the difference was nowhere near as much as 3 vs 25 min cleaning. It looks like the resin is most vulnerable in it's half cured state right off the printer, if your UV oven is strong enough to cure prints quickly, you can probably still use a water bath if you want.

This resin is not strong as the classic resin.
