These monitors look really intelligent, I would love to get to know one but I know that I don't have the experience or the money to look after one properly. I wouldn't do it unless I could afford a large, properly lighted and heated enclosure which had water if water was something they gravitated towards in the wild as I wouldn't want It to miss out on any aspect of a normal life in the wild. If and when I can meet these requirements, I would definitely get one, I need to learn everything about its metabolism, nutritional needs and how best to make sure it has a great immune system before getting one. I think if you can't meet those requirements, you shouldn't really have an animal like these. Aw, she's enjoying the chin rub but doesn't want to advertise her soft side, clever lady! ( she isn't a wretched sociopath, she's gorgeous and intelligent! Wow! The portrait of you and the cobra is gorgeous, I would have that on my wall in a heartbeat! I thought it was Lilith, oh these photographs are amazing!

Awe! My Nile is the worst to show people because I put many years of lots of hours per day into her and she now thinks she is a lap dog. Leaving people with the impression they should get one and they don't believe me when I tell them "no don't, it will send you to the hospital" ill never get another but I love my Matilda.
