I could see how humanity would not accept Talbain as much as Felicia. Wolves aren't usually accepted as welcome visitors in a home, but a housecat can easily walk among people. Felicia in her true form would be considered a normal housecat. But Talbain in his true form as a werewolf would not be as easily accepted.

It's kind of a shame that Jon Talbain doesn't appear in more Capcom crossover games. I would've loved to see him in Tatsunoko vs Capcom or Marvel vs Capcom 3. Just imagine the dialogue and win quotes he'd have. XD

Jon Talbain is one of the most underrated characters Capcom has created. His play style is so fast, and fun that he would fit in well in Marvel vs Capcom. But for some fucked up reason, Anakaris and Hisen-Ko are in the MVC games and they move like molasses.

Remarkable Character study to you sir. But I Honestly think there's an Extra layer to Jon Talbain(Gallon) that could be explored in the series if it continues. While both games (in story) focus on his Curse and his inner Darkness, *the Beast* as he calls it. They Explore his need to balance his human traits with his true nature. This form of duality is expressed between Himself, his Interactions with Felicia, and the shared if opposite views that both have about in relations toward Human nature vs them. Yin and Yang, Good and Evil. But What of the Grey area? This is the Extra Layer. I believe Jon Talbain has another chapter to add to his story that the creators could exploit. This "Extra layer" is him delving deeper into finding Harmony with his two halves, only to slowly grow mad as he struggles to Tame the Choas within him. His ending Darkstalkers 3 has him conflicted about Going back to the chilren he cares for...or Staying as the Creature he was meant to be. Reflecting his Choatic Dual nature. If Capcom ever gets back to Darkstalkers. Perpahs we'll see where Jon has been all these years. Maybe...there's a Darker trutth hidden within that his Father never revealed to him.

I'm surprised nobody got the reference/idea of TF2 that Nostalgic Gamer is using (such as the "Meet The" titles and the "Zoom out from the character of the video to the whole cast" thing that he uses at the end of each video). You do such a wonderful job bringing back the nostalgia! All the info on the characters is perfect I have learned so much and I thought I knew it all. To add that The DarkStalkers IV version is actually a remix to the version made by GenesisKeys. And the name of the title is "CPS3 Originals - Gallon's/Jon Talbain's Theme". That should already give you a clue that it's SF3

As much as I liked the art style of the anime, I hated how the English dub didn't give Jon an English accent. All in all, I am a huge fan of Jon Talbain. I have been since the 90's. He is a dope character and he needs to make a comeback in a modern fighting game.

If Capcom wanted to put a Darkstalkers representative into Smash as future DLC and if ever to promote a future Darkstalkers game, Jon Talbain would fill that slot perfectly. I’m not saying as a fan favorite or because he’s an animal or an anthropomorphic character. But the dream battles Jon can fit perfectly into Smash with the other fighters who have appeared as DLC. Ryu vs Jon is the Street Fighter X Darkstalkers fight everyone wanted to see. And Gallon translates to Hungry Wolf, there happens to be a Terry Bogard who’s title is The Legendary Hungry Wolf.

when i was little i loved wolf and werewolfs cause of sonic unleashed....and now years passed and i still play that game and when i saw Jon talbain (from a random video) where somesaid "and get this...this werewolf uses nunchucks.... nunchucks for a werewolf" and them i saw this video and thats how i loved this character and he is my favorite character to play as in darkstalkers but it sucks that hes not in any capcom crossovers.....(i just want the dlc costume for ameterasu in umvc3)
