And as of last night, my foaling is done!! What a great birthday present!! A stunning chestnut filly with tons of chrome. Just what the owner ordered!! LOL 🤣 Marita had her filly just after midnight ET, January 7th, 2025. So, all 5 mares have now foaled, and I managed well with only one arm. But I did cheat a bit by giving the foal the baby enema while it was recovering from birth, BEFORE it stood up!! @meadowbrookstables They are Holsteiner and Trakheners, and one Arabian this year. So they want them as close to January 1 as possible for growth.
