Not lose a single game in the playoffs 4. Go 4-0 against the Warriors in the championship and prove he is better at shooting 3’s than Steph Curry and win the MVP 5. Win the dunking contest 6. Yuki does play a bit like Bogues. Bogues was not only one of the best passers and handlers ever, but his defense was pretty good for a guy everyone could shoot over. You can't shoot if the ball gets taken from you while you're dribbling or holding it too low. Bogues was so short, guys didn't even see him coming to swipe those steals.
@btschiz3514Ай бұрын
At 5'7 I played at Dunbar after the 5'3 Muggsy Bogues and he was super awesome...his defense was amazing and the way he controlled was game awesome as well...Mugs played 14 yrs and help his own...he gets my vote for the hall of fame!!
@ericburton1244Ай бұрын
@@btschiz3514averaged a double double at one point! Incredible at his height, man. As a 6’0 SG I was good enough to make a weak d1 team in a weak conference (hometown college), but they wanted me at PG because of my size, and I just couldn’t make that switch from being an off-ball scorer to the opposite. I was a good passer… but I wasn’t feeling it and I partied too much and got the axe and then flunked out so it is what it is 😂 I always had MAD respect for Muggsy and Spud and Nate and them. That they could be that impactful at such a high level at their size. It blew my mind how good people were at the higher levels like that.

Yeah this survey is either outdated or targeted at elderly people 😅 I looked into last year's ranking of sports that Japanese people enjoy watching. Overall, the top sport was baseball (36.3%), followed by soccer/futsal (35.6%), figure skating (23.5%), volleyball (22.9%), and marathon/ekiden (18.6%). Breaking it down by age group, basketball ranked in the top five for people in their teens to 30s. Among teens, it placed 4th with 20.3%, 5th among those in their 20s with 14.4%, and also 5th for those in their 30s with 14.5%. Interestingly, sumo did not appear in the top five for any age group. Spud was a starter with the Kings, so he may consider that a better highlight than the dunk contest. He was one of the better perimeter shooters and had a solid package of point guard skills. It's debatable whether Bogues was better, since Bogues' didn't have the range on his shot that Spud had.
