He deserved an Oscar, most actors are cardboard cutouts on the screen, how he changed his appearance was inherent brilliance. Never heard of this but I was born in 1973.

A young DeNiro could’ve played this guy really well, I think. Very similar voice. He kinda sounds like Frank the Irishman from the Irishman.

Don't glorify him too much, his first wife (Jennifer Lawrence character) killed herself when he divorced her, and some think the mob killed her. Not that "cool" of a guy.
@zanemarte9877 Жыл бұрын
Marie was actually his 2nd wife. He was married to another woman before Marie for 18 years, had three children with a woman named Mary O'Connor before it ended in a divorce. Evelyn Knight (The person who Amy Adam's charcter is based on) was his third and final wife before ending their marriage through divorce after 16 years, and never re-married before he died from complications of his heart condition in 2018. He was definitely not "cool" having an affair with his mistress while he was married to Marie.
