You might be wondering where was Uncle Rob during our move to the new shop in North Carolina? Well we left him in Pennsylvania to make the move easier. Now we are bringing him back PLUS a new addition to the fleet named Uncle George! A 1993 GMC suburban with 334k miles on it. It has not moved in 2 years. We see if we can get it running and drive it all the way to our new shop in NC! This build is going to receive the BluePrint Engines 632ci big block!!

MAN, i had an Uncle John. Motor head from hell. He worked on and fixed EVERYTHING. Jet boats, Harleys, Hondas, Corvettes, Falcons, Homes, RC boats/cars/trucks, bicycles, guns, etc.... He passed away while i was in away with the Army, and man it tore me up like it was my father.. Never got the chance to really connect with him like i always wanted to. Life and location always got in the way. That is the best man i have ever known. This video has triggered me to call my next project, "Uncle John". Thanks for your content and spurring some memories.

Glad to meet the pungency and overall mechanic workablity of Uncle George. Putting a little 93 octane in the ol boy helped break up the 69 octane in the ol tank. Logan is a true Trooper (and keeper, hint, hint). Driving a diesel hauling a trailer with Uncle Rob on the back REALLY puts her imprint on ALL your cushions. Man, I gotta tell you, Logan is amazing! It's so awesome to see her just jump in and go for it without hesitation! She reminds me of my daughter. She was always out in the garage with me when I was working on stuff. When I put a motor in my mom's 74 Nova, my daughter was right there with me getting greasy! She helped with the whole engine swap, and when it was done she asked, Dad, what are we working on next?!!! Her and my son in law own American ATV Rentals in Panguitch Utah, and when the office work is done, she is out in the shop doing maintenance on the rental vehicles! I can't wait to see more of Logan jumping in on builds, as well as racing. Great job and love the new shop!!!

Had a '93 K2500 4x4 for a while. Intake manifold gaskets leaked , trans cooler lines leaked, trans pan gasket leaked. Minor stuff, but annoying. Then, it started burning oil. Good luck with Uncle George, can't wait for the engine swap ! Also, Logan is awesome !

Change your fuel filter, or at least take it off, and while holding both the inlet and outlet shake the hell out of it and drain the gas out of the inlet side reinstall and continue your trip, you will clean enough crap out of it to hopefully make it!

Those TBIs were prone to the fuel filters clogging and making them seam like they are running on 6 or 4. Check that if it gets any worse

Yes they do, I've had a couple obs gms as long as you change them like your supposed to its never an issue every 15 to 20k is what I did.

If it is like my truck it will get between 14-17 mpg I have a 1991 c 1500 with the tbi 350 and a 700r4. Logan your a boss towing trailers like a beast great job both of you guys

That 90s GM white paint peeled flaked off like that on every car or truck it was on. The interior on that 93 is super clean! I'm on my 2nd Suburban which is a 89 1500 2WD with front & rear AC that still works with the original R12.
