What 2000s rock song title fits with pulling/installing an engine scenario? 😂 Example: “can you take me higher”….“it’s never too late” )when coolant starts pouring on the floor) etc. Let’s hear some good ones 🤟🏻😂

Mr Mitchell and Ms Logan or should I say Mr Hood Cleetus and Ms Logan. I've been waiting for this day to come ever since you managed to swindle them at Blue Print to get the engine. Uncle George is gonna be a bona-fide ripper. I'm still watching every episode til the end. Not much bonus footage. I'm probably just as excited for this as yall are. I miss yell being in Texas. On to bigger and better things. I'm happy for yall. Ms Logan has come out of her shell. It's great to see the better interaction with the camera. Keep up everything. Will be paitently waiting for part 2, 3, 4 and how many it takes. Love you guys

Me me me!!! I need a transmission real bad for my factory custom 92 OBS extended cab stepside I've lost reverse and trying to get this thing back on the road I'm disabled handicapped money is real tight that thing would be a blessing to me to get my truck running where I can finally drive it and enjoy it it's been a long process trying to fix her up.... So if I'm not too late please consider me for that transmission I'm hoping my motor holds out it's the old original 5.7,,, would like 350,000 miles on it so but yeah that transmission I mean if it's if it's an upgrade transmission for these trucks and it has all gears and everything I would love to I would love to be able to hug your neck for it!!

Hell yeah Mitchell and Logan! This video just made my day. As Mitchell knows I went through my second major colon surgery back two days before Thanksgiving and I've been recovering since...but now the problem is I've been deathly sick since Saturday night and our doctor is worthless and won't see patients if they have fevers or anything like that. Fevers ended Monday night but it ain't getting better. Feels like sinus shit with a lot of abdominal pain and a headache from hell with throwing up. Thank you guys for always knowing when to cheer a guy up! I'm so damn pumped for this build.

its sometimes daunting to get into a 40 minute video. But you had me the entire time! Rough day at the office so its taken 5 hours to catch all 37 mins or so but I wanted to say; listening to your wrap up.. You bring such a fresh perspective to youtube, something that at its core seems so obvious, but something that is NOT the main anymore. its hardly even desired to take something away from what you watch anymore. I hear so many people say now they just want to turn off and watch something (i dont get it) I think its a reason I always find myself coming back watching all your content. Being an LS turbo guy, when i saw this blue whale come in to PFI singing with twins like that, I was instantly hooked. Youve had me ever since. Thanks for taking the drive to CO. Cant say Id be a follower now without. Sorry for the long post!

For future usage taking the hood off remove the upper spring bolts and let the hood down put say a rubber mallet on the support so the safety doesn't catch grab a #2 Philips screw driver go to each end of the plastic cowl cover remove the screw on each end allowing you to remove the end peice of the cowl cover under that you will find the hinge pivot remove those bolts and lift the hood off no adjustment needed just set hood back on and put hinge pivot bolts back in and hook the springs back up and done! You could even take the hinge plates off the truck and install them back on the hood to make it easier to reinstall just a thought. Gonna be one sick burban!

I once swapped a TBI 350 in one of these OBS trucks as a teen. I did it in 6 hours from the time I popped the hoods of the dead engine truck and donor truck to the time I was firing the receiver up and driving it off. I did it same method as here. Hand tools and a cherry picker. I even had to swap flexplate from donor engine for flywheel on dead engine as receiver truck was manual trans and donor suburban was auto. Truck in question was 1993 Chevrolet K2500 with a 5 speed stick. Donor was a 1989 GMC suburban K1500 that had a GM Goodwrench stock style 350. I can remember helping put that Goodwrench 350 in the 89 suburban. Let me tell you. The front driveshaft on 4x4 machines is annoying to work around. Doubly so with the exhaust in the way

When I put the big block into mine, I removed the grill and cut the top of the radiator core support. I made new support brackets so I could put it back together afterwards. I also pulled back the carpet and cut a removable access panel in the transmission tunnel, so I could get to the bellhousing bolts easily. Once the big block was in place, I had zero room at the firewall

GM used 10,13,15, and 18mm headed metric bolts on the driveline in the 70’s, 80,s and 90’s. In the mid 70’s they swapped about half of the TH400 to metric threads, and left the rest standard thread, silly but working on them all those years it’s normal. Funny to see younger people figuring it out! There are block drains on both sides of the block above the oil pan rail, prevents the coolant waterfall!

Try using your wet vac to suck the fluid out of the cooling system as you disconnect the hoses and afterwords to drain the block. I have not tried that but I thought it was neat when I saw it on Vice Grip Garage. Thanks for the videos

Dude you making fast suburbans is like my wet dream of all things vehicular. My ideal suburban is a 69 with A6BT and Allison and Atlas type 2 Transfer case a Dana 60 end of the nose and a full float 14 bolt under the ass end. Is an absolute bulletproof rig from start to finish. You guys are building stuff that absolutely makes me smile

My '94 K2500 Suburban is a f'n' beast w/1 ton rear axle & 454 engine, you won't be disappointed! Right there wishing I were able to help you & the lovely lady Logan pull wrenches on that truck, it will be a nasty customer when you get it repowered!
