Its still free and he has more listeners now then when he was on youtube, and he can openly do a lot more things without getting demonotized. The ease of the video portion was a lot easier and better on youtube like in cars and things but overall the pod is better on spotify imo

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't like about it on Spotify, you cant connect to your car and watch. I often do during my lunch break and I end up using earbuds and phone or tablet.

This was 15yrs ago.. I saw Joe Rogan walking down a street with Anthony Bourdain in Montreal. I think Joe was performing at Théâtre St-Denis. (I was visiting a friend at a very nearby hospital). The thing I remember is how short Joe Rogan was walking beside Anthony Bourdain.

He needs to look at joes numbers and what he’s produced from Spotify before he starts saying that it was “more popular on KZbin”. Joe even said that KZbin was monetizing and deleting a huge chunk of his videos. He wasn’t nearly getting the views he should have. After signing with Spotify, his numbers and views went up 35% I believe he said. Spotify is still free to watch him so idk what he’s talking about in regards to “when it was free” lol

I live in Texas and knew where Joe lives, right on the Colorado river with a dock, two or three homes down from Sandra Bullock. I always wondered where his studio was. If it was at his home, back in LA or somewhere in town or even at his new comedy club. It’s kinda cool knowing it’s somewhere in Austin at an undisclosed secret location with security.

Can only speak for me but I'm on KZbin anyway and would just see episodes pop up and watch. Now I have to launch Spotify (which kinda sucks on set top boxes) and only watch that one podcast on there. Sounds dumb but it was WAY easier to watch before. Now I have to make an effort to decide which episode I want to watch etc. I watch his podcast about 30x less than before. Maybe I'm just tired of it? I think its the former though.
